This motel is clean and quiet (ask for a room at the rear of the motel), which is all I really expect when on a road trip in Northern Ontario. You're not going to get a fancy experience in small towns! The owner is lovely to speak with - very friendly.

I called to schedule a room and some man screamed "don't waste my time" and hung up on me. It was so rude to a complete stranger, he was unhinged. I seriously wouldn't stay there. All I did was ask if he had availability.

We don’t answer the phone like that even in the middle of the night when our office is close. To answer an inquiry is never a waste of time for us. I think there is a confusion.

Nice clean and comfortable motel, and appreciated the fact that the owner was willing to stay up late to let us roll in after midnight on our motorcycles. Would stay here again if passing through Massey

My wife and I stayed here for one night before our kayak trip and it was a very clean and pleasant motel. Front desk gentleman was helpful. Room was quiet, updated and comfortable, coffee is available in room. Also, just across the road is a good place for breakfast, the Back Home Bistro.

All amenities worked well. As motels get older, you run the risk of smell, lower maintenance, uncomfortable bed or an air conditioner that does not function well or poor wifi. All were very good. The couple operating the motel helped very quickly when our room near the end did not pick up the wifi. They needed to reset the extender. A simple, clean room is all I want and that is what I got. Very reasonable price for the time of year. We did not face the highway, so it was very quiet and we did not hear any of our neighbours. The shower head either needs a cleaning or replacing, but it did its job.

Rooms are clean. Airconditioning was a great treat on a long journey. However, prositutes and johns were inhabiting the room beside mine. Not at all cool.or legal. Not a place for families. I never post like this so you know i mean it. Stay out of the Massey Mohawk Motel.

My cycling partner and I have been cycling over 130km everyday through the prairies for days. Mohawk motel stands out like a fresh oasis in a desert place. Motel owners take genuine pride in their business and service. Lots of helpful advise and goes without saying... the rooms and facilities abolutely clean and fresh. We were so well rested and happy. It made the next days riding stronger.

Anil at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Motel is clean, rooms fairly large. We had a room at the back, that was quiet. Lots of trucks drive by, so rooms at the front would not be quiet. Would definitely stay again

An older independent single level budget mined motel located along the highway. Our room 29 located in back was surprising quiet but is starting to show its age and lack of maintenance. Extra noisy fridge and dripping bathtub tap but It was clean and tidy, The king bed was comfortable. We have stayed here before when breakfast was included. Places to eat here are rare and we always have to plan for a time when the only restaurant in town is open in the evening. We recently found a new up scale place nearby (Back Home Bistro) to eat but it only serves breakfast and lunch.

I chose to book here as my wife and I took a day trip to Iron Bridge and wanted a night away and this motel offered a Jacuzzi suite. The desk attendant who I think was the owner was very nice and helpful. The room itself was clean enough with a King size bed and an updated washroom with the Jacuzzi in the main area of the room. The Jacuzzi itself was clean but this is where the good news ends as it was not enjoyable. The water was no where near warm enough coming from the tap even with no cold water added to the mix, he tub itself had air forced jets which cool the water as well. Although it looked big enough for two people it was barely and it was not comfy for sure. The extra cost we paid to have the this feature was in no way worth it and I would not go back to stay in that room but if you wanted a cheap motel with clean rooms and good service then it is passable. All in all there are better options so give this room and motel a pass.
