the campground is great. Two swimming pools and a pond.
people are courteous,friendly and polite.
HOWEVER we had a problem with our refrigerator, and they had to buy a new one and made sure they told us how much it cost them like we should pay for it.
then we had a problem with the black water leaking out underneath the trailer so were in the smell of sewage. We asked for someone to come look at it, no one did.
we also bought bread that was mouldy and they wanted to know the expiry date and were not too happy to return our money.

as a campground ot is really good. Sites are nice and it's a nice quiet park

This is our second visit to the campground. First year was great. Not so much this year. They bought new trailers to rent out. So much smaller. No television in these for the rainy days. The fridge didn't work and had to go in and out every time we needed something in it. Once we were all unpacked, my husband went to see the owner with our concerns and he said he would give us our refund and we could see somewhere else. My husband had asked for a little discount for we were staying for a week. Very upsetting response. When we left the owner told my husband, thank you for our first review on our first day. What did he expect. Very sadden by it all. Didn't start a very good holiday with our three granddaughters. 😯

We called from the 401 to see if there was a site available. There was a pull through that suited us just fine. It’s has trees, clean and level. Perfect for one nights stay. There are two ponds on the campground.. it’s pretty.

As we only stayed overnight, I don't know about all of their facilities but the sites we were assigned were horrible. They were not level and the ground was very soft. I doubt that changes much as there was no drainage for the area we were in. We sank into the soft ground and could not get either trailer we were travelling with properly level. The operator who led us to the site picked up the beer cans and garbage that was left from someone else and tossed them in our fire pit (?!). Our happy hour entertainment was watching and listening to one of the operators going back and forth with the garden tractor hauling dirt to another area of the camp. The water was horrible with a strong taste and odour. Overall a disappointment to pay full price for substandard sites.

This campground has a lot to offer it's campers. They provide activities for the children and adults. They have 2 beautiful swimming pools and a man made pond. They have 3 playground areas as well. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Our Grand daughter is a senior interpreter at Upper Canada Village. Since we don't live near there we decided to fine a campground near UCV so we could stay close by for the two weekends she was in the program.

We really lucked out on this one. They have two pools plus a swimming / play boating pond. Parks with play stuff and sand and programmed activities through out the week. Also an arcade and entertainment areas. Also some rental pedal vehicles for the kids and adults.

Staff are friendly and attentive. The transient sites have 15 or 30 Amp with water. There is a dump station, however if you are there for a week or more they come around and pump you out on Fridays and Mondays.

My grand daughter is really happy with the campground and so are we.

David
