Stayed the weekend in Morrisburg at a local b&b, to bicycle and take in the Upper Canada Village playhouse. We looked for the "best" restaurant in the area, but few options, so this was it. While we were going to order off the menu,we did the buffet, as ordering off the menu would have been more than the all inclusive...

My wife and I travel for extended periods and have relatively large suitcases. The McIntosh has a steeply sloping front entry ramp, and a sill on the front door of at least one inch in height. Their luggage trolley, without pneumatic wheels, cannot get over that sill without someone lifting the front end - not easy with a heavy load....

We were looking for a place to stay after a long day on the road and picked the McIntosh as it looked a lot better than nearby alternatives. It was ok. Staff was very friendly. The rate with the Autoclub discount was great so I'd recommend this if you are on a budget. The room itself was clean but dated....

We had tickets for the Upper Canada Playhouse so decided to have dinner at the McIntosh County Inn. We have no regrets. Originally we called to be sure we could order off a menu as we know they have a buffet. We were told be could order from the menu. When all was said and done, we ended up having...

A decent roadside hotel with outdoor heated pool and ok rooms. Sink was on the outside of the tiny bathrooms but the staff was friendly. Restaurant food was a little pricey but the rooms were a reasonable rate. Definitely a rural hotel and the halls kind of smelled like smoke.

I found this hotel for a last minute stay when I became drowsy while coming home from a conference and had to turn a one-day drive into a two-day drive for safety's sake. I booked on booking.com from the rest stop on 401, but was advised in the future to "just show up" because I could have gotten a better...

Bought the Upper Canada Village package, (2 adult passes to UCV, 2-$10 food vouchers and the room) for a total of $209, making the room approximately $149. The room was very clean there is definitely no issues with that. Some of the common areas were less so, and the carpet in the second stairwell heading to the pool was is...

I have NEVER been so appalled in my life! Saturday night we were booked at the McIntosh Country Inn in Morrisburg and had issue after issue. Can you believe we had the nerve to ask for another fridge when ours wasn't working? The front desk woman, Lois, was such a snot about the whole thing. After we had dealt with...

Yes it's an old time country inn but the staff were all great. The food was good and if you like nachos they make a great dish of them. If you are in the area and want to stay I'd pick this one again in a heartbeat.
