Well, it’s ok to stay one night. Rooms are kind of beat up, but it’s clean. Real close to the airport, Tim hortons and 2 convenience stores, terrible internet and terrible tv reception. I paid 100$ plus tax cdn free parking and reasonably quiet at this location

I was recommended to try this place because it accepts pets at a reasonable pet fee. I could drive right up to my room and the room was very clean and everything worked. The bedding could be improved - sheets were thin and pillows lumpy. Check in staff was very friendly. The hotel was busy but was quiet overnight. Parking lot could use a clean up. Price was reasonable. Breakfast could have more options but covid still affects what can be offered

Upon arrival at the hotel there was no one at the desk - a trend I noticed during my stay. The desk clerk would appear fairly quickly from upstairs or down the hall. The room was clean but lacked the basic amenities one would expect from a chain hotel. I reserved a room with a mini fridge and microwave (confirmed on the confirmation) but it had neither. I mentioned it to the desk clerk but she just said well only some of them have those. Annoying but I decided I would settle for ice. Looking around the room it also had no hair dryer and no coffee maker. I did notice coffee on the housekeeping carts so I assume "some rooms" had those. After returning from dinner I went looking for ice but the machine was out of order. I asked the front desk who said "Oh, she hasn't had it fixed yet........" I get it. things break. So go BUY bags of ice and allow guests an ice bucket perhaps? Just over all sub standard. Spend the extra 30.00 and stay down the road.

We stayed at the Super 8 May 31 2024. While at the hotel we attempted to book another night (June 1) but was advised by the front desk (Nancy) that the hotel was sold out. I contacted my travel agent who was able to book the additional night. When we advised the front desk (Unis) that we would like to keep the same room rather than check out and back in, miraculously she was able to adjust the original reservation to 2 nights. Unis advised at that time that she would cancel the 2nd room to avoid the no-show charge. Upon check out both rooms were charged to the respective credit cards. When advising the front desk staff of the duplicate charge, they advised that it had to go through the GM Bobbie and provided his business card. Since that date I have called numerous times with no response and sent several emails to him, also without response. On July 30 I reached out to Wyndham Customer Care and received an email on July 31 from Lyn advising that I would receive a response from the property management team within 1 week. On September 19 I again reached out to Customer Care and the hotel manager as I still had not heard from the hotel. Neither have responded. This is completely unprofessional and absolutely horrible customer service and I would urge EVERYONE to avoid this hotel. Better to drive a little farther to a reputable hotel.

As a grown man I don’t usually use the word yucky, but, this place is yucky. After checking in around 4pm we walked upstairs and there was some crushed chocolate candies on the stairs. “It probably just happened”, benefit of the doubt. As it was a long drive I had to use the washroom, but, I first had to clean the hair and urine stains off the toilet seat. So much hair on the walls and floor, just gross. Left for dinner about an hour later, crushed candy still on the stairs. Also asked front desk person for an iron and board to be taken to the room. Got back from dinner, candy still on the stairs. Iron in the room, no board. Called down to the desk. Apparently there was no ironing board in the whole hotel. After a lengthy conversation, they magically found an ironing board. Had a shower in the gross moldy bathroom. See pics. Furthermore, the faucet handle fell off when attempting to use it. Left for downtown to see the concert-gross candy still on stairs. Got back, mushed up candy STILL on the stairs. Checked out at 730am, candy still on the stairs. Now don’t get me wrong, the candy doesn’t bug me but the attention to cleanliness is abundantly evident. I am a Wyndham diamond member, I stay in a lot of hotels. This is by far the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. Apparently Wyndham will sell their name to any old dive just to make a buck.

The scariest, dirtiest and most poorly staffed hotel experience of my life. A huge fight between the front desk staff and a guest checking in at midnight, a man offering drugs outside the hotel, a hotel arranged taxi that never shows for transport to the airport, no toilet tissue, no hairdryer etc etc. Pretty sure cleaning the room involves simply changing the sheets. The eventual taxi driver who saved me from this place called it “a garbage hotel with the worst possible employees”. I feel ptsd this experience and Wyndham really should remove themselves from this affiliation. Don’t book here! Find another solution.

The washroom was not clean and the toilet leaked on the floor. The bathroom was freezing and the sleeping area was hot. Adjusting the heating unit would not work. Just before going to sleep i saw three cockroaches. I put all the luggage in the van and made sure there were no bugs in our luggage. I stayed up all night and didnt sleep. My wife slept on the top of the clothes and i was making sure more bugs didnt go on the bed.

Very disappointed with the stay at Super 8 Hamilton. Hotel is run down and 'let-go'. As a single traveller, I did not feel safe. Window was cracked, screen was ripped open, linens were not white and had stains, coffee machine was broken. Slept with one eye open to keep an watch on my rental car.

All visitors need to be aware, there is no elevator in the building. I had to carry my luggage up to 2nd floor. After being away for a month, my luggage was heavy and there was no one to assist me. Staying on first floor was not an option due to the questionable guest that looked to be long term monthly stays.

Evening front desk staff was friendly but morning staff were not to concerned when I reported the above problems. Continental breakfast was awful - coffee, porridge (not hot water) and bananas.

Although the location is minutes from airport, the hotel is not worth the stay. I am a frequent traveller and have never reported any hotel to this degree.

Mild and water damage. Broken furniture. Broken AC. Disgusting throughout. Service could care less and you were an inconvenience for asking for a clean livable room. They would not refund and we didn’t spend the night as I wouldn’t let my 4 year old stay through that. Do not stay here and save your money. I am still fighting for my money back. Also poor service there too.

I would not trust my vehicle in this lot to save a few bucks. Airport parking is not expensive, we parked at airport for the week. By the time you take a cab there and back, you may save $10

Yes they do offer long term parking for guests - it’s super convenient 5 bucks a day. A quick cab ride to the airport which is literally around the corner

It’s 8-10 dollars - worth it. No headache - leave car at hotel, cab to the airport which is 3 mins away. Park and fly at hotel is $5.00 a day, secure lot.
