We needed an inexpensive place after a concert and to stay in the area. We arrived around midnight and got our key and into the room asap.

Old but clean and functional. Is it a 4 star? Nope. Is it a clean place with a good shower and a comfy bed? Yes.

This is a very worn out motel...old furniture, hard bed, tv worked and for the most part it was clean. Overall, there is not that much to choose from in Orangeville and this will do if all you are looking for just a night's sleep with a roof over your head.

Went here for the weekend and stayed in the same room as last year, walls and furniture's are in need of some loving care, a simple paint job would do wonders. All I can say is a cheap place to stay overnight,

Deplorable location conditions. If it was $40 I would not feel so overcharged. Stay elsewhere. Don't trust them with a credit card. They will inspect the room and insist you not be in the room and then decide how much they charge out of your $100 deposit.
Noisy, terrible bed, sheets, towels...

Absolutely disgusting place to stay. I had an emergency at my house with no Hydro and water so I had to go to this motel I get there the TV is off the wall and broken. The room is absolutely disgusting. There was no comforter on the beds. the sheets were filthy. The chair in the corner was absolutely filthy Plastic curtains had cigarette burns in them and we’re frayed beyond compare you could stick your hand through it in the middle of the blizzard. The snow was coming through the inside door freezing in there. Blood stains on the walls. The walls were dirty, with God knows what lampshades were broken and dirty, and it absolutely stunk in there The other people that live in the hotel full-time were up partying, so did not sleep at all , then I get up to go to the bathroom at 6 o’clock in the morning and found a mouse in the toilet. I called the front desk to get some help and they told me that the office wasn’t open until 9 o’clock so honestly this hotel should be condemned. Do not stay there if you can absolutely help it .

The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable, as was the sofa for sitting watching TV. Nice to have the mini fridge & microwave. Coffee pot is an essential for me. Excellent TV and internet. Best location for convenience to dining & groceries. I was in town for a medical procedure at Headwaters Hospital. This hotel is the best choice as I was under driving restrictions for a couple of days.

I thought we would try to save an extra $100.00 and stay at this motel vs The Best Western, boy was I wrong. Checked in, and soon checked out.....I would have rather slept in my car. It was just horrid, and I was worried I wouldn't make it out alive!!!!!!
We ended up staying at The Howard Johnson's for an extra $20.00.

If you require luxury and lots of amenities, this is not the place for you.
If you need a clean, neat, comfortable room with a good bed, clean bathroom, a good TV and
Wi-Fi, this is your place at a very reasonable price.
There is a microwave and small coffeemaker in the room.
The desk person was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions in the area.
There is a small restaurant next door for breakfast and lunch.
I stayed for two nights and was very comfortable.
When I return to Orangeville, I will use this motel.

After trying to make a point with the management, both the husband and wife broke down and left the office with my girlfriend and I left scratching our heads. We didn't even raise our voices. Nothing was resolved. Rooms are very "tired" and dated. I've done quite a few road and business trips and this has to be the worst room/motel/hotel I've ever stayed at. If we could have left and found another hotel that wasn't booked up, we would have.

I needed a nice place to stay for a couple of days and decided to head to the Atlanta as it was inexpensive. As I was unpacking the car my wife was like did you see the room yet and she wanted to see my reaction. As I opened the door I was surprised to see how nice our room looked especially since from the outside the motel doesn't seem to be all that great.
The bed was comfortable, had great bed sheets, flat screen tv, microwave. I was really comfortable being there. The owner is very friendly which always makes things a plus.
The only negative thing would be the shower as it doesn't really have a lot of pressure but from what I was told by a friend of mine is that in Orangeville in general the water pressure is low but I cant confirm that for that.
I would definitely return if I ever return to Orangeville.

Do you supply a hair dryer ? Booked to stay Oct 12-15/16
Answer from joe d
Hamilton, Canada538 contributions82 helpful votes
When I stayed at this hotel there was no hair dryer in the room. The room had a small fridge, a microwave oven, coffee maker and a large flat screen television. You might ask at the desk when you check in if they have one for you to use or just bring your own. Excellent diner right next door for breakfast and lunch but if you are driving I recommend Wimpys, see my review. On the other side there is a nice pizzaria. Enjoy your stay..
