Stayed one night to celebrate a family birthday, We had stayed previously at this location and enjoyed it so decided to return. Check in went smoothly as we had preregistered, so a quick stop at front desk to pick up our keys. We reserved a king bed suite with a river view. It was located on the 3rd floor. We opened the door to the suite and found a very large kitchen /living area with a bathroom off of it with a shower. The king bedroom is separated from the kitchen/living room area by pocket doors on either side of the bed. The good sized master bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, large vanity, so lots of space for toiletries, and heated floors. There is no carpet in the suite which we liked. The flooring is vinyl plank and both bathrooms had marble floors. There are plenty of windows so the space is bright. The curtains kept out the light when closed and the sheer curtains provide privacy during daylight hours. We did not use the kitchen facilities other than the fridge, the large dining table and small sink. There were plenty of towels in each bathroom; the kitchen was equipped with dishes, glasses and utensils. This suite was great for us as the sofa converted to a bed. We had dinner at the Locks Restaurant which is located in the hotel. A very inviting space with glass topped tables, white leather chairs, a fireplace on one wall and plenty of windows. There is a nice patio attached to the restaurant where we enjoyed drinks on a previous visit in better weather. We enjoyed the food, plenty of options. Breakfast is included with the room. A nice bright dining room. You order your breakfast and it is served to you; not a breakfast bar. The choices are limited but we found what was offered had everything we needed and we enjoyed it very much! We didn't use the pool or go to the spa. The location of the hotel is good as you can walk to various restaurants and shops. Perth is a pleasant community and we enjoyed our stay very much.

All members of my family were well accommodated and happy with the hotel experience. Parking was completely adequate and satisfactory. Hot breakfast was quickly served by friendly and courteous staff. Desk staff were very helpful and quick to respond to our special requests.

What a beautiful hotel. We were impressed the minute we walked in the doors. We are diamond members and travel a lot. We’ve stayed in many Best Westerns and this was one of the nicest we’ve been to. The lady at check in was wonderful. So friendly and helpful with tips to do in Perth and also gave us a tour of a suite later that evening. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom with a nice wide vanity for all our toiletries when travelling. We loved the hardwood floors and the very comfortable chairs to relax and unwind. Even the hallways and doors to the rooms were unique and we didn’t hear the usual noise from people going to their rooms late at night. Everything was just perfect. The hotel is beside a very lovely park and breakfast in the morning was in the restaurant with a park view. We were able to order off a menu and had received vouchers at check in to use for a free breakfast included in the price. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return if ever in that area again. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re anywhere near.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel! I was given a room which had a very loud noise and even vibrated the wall. I went to the lobby and asked to be moved, and the fellow said there was no other rooms available. I said there are not many cars on the lot and couldn’t possibly be full. He said he would call the acting manager and see what could be done and he would call me in my room. He never called so I went to the lobby again and he said he spoke to the manager and they could not change rooms. I would have left, but I can’t drive after dark. In the morning the acting manager was on and he said they have always had issues with that room because it’s above the kitchen and it’s the fan that makes all the noise, they know this and they still put people in it. He also said the fellow on the desk never called him, and he should have changed my room as the hotel was not full. He said he would credit me 20,000 points and that would equal $200 on my next stay at any best Western. When he asked if I was satisfied with that I said yes. When the manager got back after a few days from holidays, she change the credit to 2000 which is equal to $20 Dollars on my next day. She also said he never said that which was again not true. It’s too bad, it’s a nice hotel and I had planned to visit it often on my getaways. They need to get a better manager.

We booked 2 nights, but we only stayed 1 night. The room wasn’t worth the $500 we paid, even the FREE breakfast wasn’t worth it with the slimy eggs (ordered over easy) and burnt sausage. There was too many dogs in the hotel for being a pet free hotel. The windows were extremely draughty, baseboards, and heater filthy. No pool towels available and the internet quit working at 11 pm.

We have been to many Best Westerns and this is the best one yet. We had a view of Stewart Park which is beautiful. The room was very nice and the soaker tub was amazing. The rooms were well insulated as it was very quiet and had none of the annoying sounds from the heating system. A great location as most of the shops and wonderful bakeries were a short walk away

Travel anywhere during the pandemic, takes one into the unknown - this hotel is a beautiful building in a great location within walking distance of Perth downtown. Reception was friendly and efficient and the hotel had sanitizing stations on every floor outside the elevators, as well as inside the elevator itself. The room itself was large and clean but not luxurious. The spa tub was the best part of the room stay! At the end of the day while I enjoyed the hotel itself, I felt it was overpriced for a mid week, one night stay. The breakfast offered in the morning was good.

We stayed one night. It was an average stay but wouldn't pay that much for this stay or hotel. Noise can be heard between rooms and when people are in hallway. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, neither soft or hard option were ok compared to similar hotel stays. Neither of us had a good sleep. Breakfast was average, better than most hotel breakfast but not the best. The waitress forgot basic things like water, they either need more staff or training. Location is great but that's probably why the price is so high, you're stuck with no other option unless you do airbnb.

The town of Perth is lovely at any time of year, the shops and restaurants are very good! The Parkside offers amazing services for a small town hotel, the park-side location is lovely and provides walking access to most shops and services. The on-site restaurant, The Locks, has really upped their game recently and we thoroughly enjoy dining there.

This is a top notch hotel, which I compare to a Gran Bahia resort. The room was spotless and well designed with very comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom included an abundance of towels, toiletries and had a spa bathtub which I enjoyed. The Kitchen Staff were amazing, with a special thanks to Chef Ryan and Sean for creating a few special meals for me due to my diet restrictions. The location is excellent as it is beside Stewart Park, a wonderful area to walk, sit in nature, take pictures etc. We were easily able to walk around all the shops as it is so close.

Yes, The Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn offers a full Aveda Spa & hair salon.
They offer a variety of services, such as manicure, pedicure, facials, massage therapy and other body treatments.
We do have Parkview rooms available. These views are unobstructed and some even have balconies. These rooms overlook Stewart Park and the Tay River. Please feel free to give us a call and we will gladly set you up in one of these fantastic rooms.
