This is a great motel/inn. Super clean and comfortable with everything you need. The owners are on site and very accommodating. Professionally run with pride. Would definitely recommend and would return. A fresh change of pace from the usual $250+ chain hotels.

Just because this property has been around for a few years, don't be fooled into thinking this is just going to be your typical old basic motel. it is very well kept and it is adequately appointed. The rooms may not be huge but they have everything you need. The owners are over-the-top friendly and helpful. From a price standpoint, this is an exceptional deal. I have a reason to visit Perth once or twice a year and I don't intend to stay anywhere else. it's easy to get to with lots of restaurants around on #7.

We spent three nights at this motel while visiting family and friends in the area. It is easy to find and close to restaurants, gas stations and a plaza. The owners were very friendly and suggested local dining options the evening we arrived. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bathroom was recently renovated from top to bottom. Everything worked as it should, and there were none of the "surprises" one often finds in roadside motels. We would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay in Perth.

My friends and I stopped here after riding through a horrific thunderstorm. Even though we dripped water all over the office we were treated in a friendly and welcoming manner. The rooms were outstandly clean and well maitained. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning clean towels were waiting on our bikes so they could be wiped dowm. Highly recommend.

For a quick stop over style model I was VERY impressed upon stepping in the room. Wow. CLEAN. Normally you anticipate the yucky once wet carpet smell and stagnant motel room smell but not one bit. The owners were very pleasant and helpful with directions and what to see. As for the accomodations themselves.... GREAT. The bed was super comfortable. Air worked. Micro and coffee maker. Only downside, no ice maker. Overall I would DEFINITELY stay here again, and highly recommend this place.

The owners are awesome and accommodating easy going people. They are always cleaning out and about... family ran place.... better than most that I have stayed at... nice and quite between units.. i would recommend to anyone that needs a place in perth. Thank you so much to the owners and we hope to visit again.

I needed a place to sleep while visiting friends at a nearby cottage in progress. The Tay Inn and reviewers' feedback did not disappoint. A couple little mugs of coffee, a small fridge and microwave were all I needed besides a clean comfortable bed and washroom. Housekeeping staff wore face masks while performing their work.

We had to attend an event in Perth and this place looked good. On arrival we waited for another guest to leave the office. Before we entered the manager on duty (one of the owners?) disinfected all surfaces, pens, credit card payment device - everything! The room too was spotless, comfortable and the furniture and finishing looked new and well maintained. On departure we had a friendly conversation on our stay and why we were in Perth with the managers/owners of what appears to be family business. They have earned an excellent review and our strong recommendation. We will stay here again if the future takes us to Perth.

The Tay Inn was a good little motel to stay in while visiting friends in Perth. It is basic, but has all you need, including a little fridge. Room was clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Reasonable price too. I would recommend it as a nice, inexpensive place to stay while visiting Perth.

We have stayed at the Tay in before and this is our second stay, rooms are smaller than in a modern hotel but are comfortable and clean, the staff are very friendly and polite. It is close to restaurants and other amenities and is right on hwy 7. If you are in the Perth Ontario area for a visit I would recommend this small family owned motel.
