This was a short vacation for us to stay near friends in the Lanark area. We chose from the website and was treated well by Ian Caswell, owner of McCullough's Landing. We had a great site designated for day travelers. We were near the water and the boat launching and near one of the two shower/toilet buildings. The sites are small, compared to the usual provincial sites we use but large enough for our needs. The site has 250 permanent trailers and they are all well kept and used regularly. We were there mid-week so the place was very quiet. I understand that all weekend sites are booked for the remainder of the season. We will return to this campsite and I am sure, that will be treated well again by the staff.

While I am a permanent camper, I will say this is a super clean, super friendly, nicest views of the lake, family oriented campground. I have come here since I was 1 year old and my grandparents camped there. I along with 3 other volunteers, run the campers association. Anyone staying here is encouraged to participate, wether its Kids FunDAy, Kids or adult bingo, street dances, Kids Amazing Race or Halloween labour day weekend, kids are welcome to participate. Its all here folks, even rustic/retro cottages.

Love this place! Cabins are 50's original so you feel you went back in time to really enjoy the experience. Nice boat launch, playground, and overall spaces. The Mom who owns it could be a little friendlier but the sons are helpful and really nice. I recommend it to all.
