My wife and I truly had a great time here. our first "holiday" in about 21 months. The room was fantastic, great view of lake, lots of spacious windows and our "own" private patio area, which most other guests stayed away from. We did have a few concerns, because at this price point, even in late September, things like the A/C should work as it got quite stuffy at night, there were things that hadn't been dusted in a long time, inside fireplace, top of ceiling fan blades and cold air return grate. The fireplace was always warm, couldn't figure out hw to turn off, or up, if we had preferred, finally figured out the TV operation after awhile, and since we did call the phone number given, nobody ever returned our call, so we assumed that calls would not be returned for other problems, definitely a gliche in the "unmanned" system of management somewhwere! It was nice to have our own kitchen, even if we only used it for breakfast and snacks, surfaces were clean, (dishes and cookware was likely from a second hand store, again at this price point, something newer would be expected), but inside oven is disgusting, not cleaned in years, would not have used! Overall, a enjoyable 3 days.

We just returned from an amazing weekend Sept 16-18 with 24 girls friends staying at the Paradise Inn on the Beach. We are a group of friends are in late 50’s -60. Randy the owner was excellent to communicate with and very accommodating. He was very prompt to return answers to questions we had. The property is beautiful and rooms are clean, spacious and beds super comfy. We loved the spacious porch to gather in the morning for a coffee or in the evening to watch the stars. The beach is steps away and the water is all sand. You are an easy 15-20 minute walk to restaurants, shops and bars. You can also catch a cab anywhere in Port Elgin for a flat rate of $15.00. We were fortunate to be there for live entertainment and fun bands at the local establishments. Pizza was amazing at Queens ( 24 thumbs up recommendations) and our meal was very delicious at Rosina’s …a quaint Italian restaurant. Everything was amazing. Make reservations asap as it is booked ahead! I would highly recommend booking the Paradise Inn on the Beach and we will definitely stay here when visiting Port Elgin area. Thank you to the Birds for providing such wonderful memories! Diane on behalf of our GGW group.

It is right next to the beach. The room was very nice. We loved that it was accessible only with a key pad so no one else could enter the Inn. Also the kitchen helped to keep costs down as we could cook and avoid going out for all meals.

Bathroom door would not shut because I would guess the building has shifted and it.had a solid inch of being ajar when using the bathroom. Room was beyond hot with a warning that you are not allowed to change the mode on the heat/air conditioning without getting a $100 fine added to your bill. Even turning the heat down didn’t make a difference in the temperature of the room. So had to keep balcony door open to cool room down. Sign in the shower warning you will get a $200 fine if you use the shower curtain incorrectly. Unfortunately there was not a sole in the building other than one other guest. Keyless entry and no direction given as to who to contact …. There was a notice you could call only in an emergency. Rules in the hallways. Rules literally everywhere . Rules that were in my opinion rather rude, not necessary and unwelcoming for grown adults paying a lot of money to not be able to sleep a wink. Also was misguided by photos of rooms as I was under the impression all rooms had a kitchenette. There is one group shared kitchen.

On the plus side great location, proximity to the beach and walking distance to restaurants.

We stayed Sept. 13 to 15, 2022. Contactless check in was easy and the Inn couldn't be in a better location. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony and could see the beach and watch the sunset easily from our room. The room was very clean and the nicely decorated and the beds were comfy. We had a microwave and fridge. It was quiet and peaceful. My only reservation was the check out time of 10am which is earlier than the industry standard of 11am.

We found the descriptions are rather deceptive. For instance, to be clear, there is one kitchen for the entire inn, not in each room. And there is no secure bike storage, rather they simply have racks you can lock them to. There is one very large (structural?) crack in the wall in the room we had. That, and a few things, ie the vinyl flooring in the bathroom and the mattresses sag at the edges (but beds were quite cozy), point to the inn getting a bit tired. But, they were minor, and overall our room and the building were just fine and quite nice. The patio is great to sit out for morning coffee, lunch, or have a nightcap. We found it to be so nice to have the beach right across the road, and very handy to bike trails also. If you need to rent a bike or water craft, best to check availability before booking (no refunds!) as they were there but not able to be rented due to some technical difficulties. I believe 8 of the 10 rooms were booked during our stay, but it was very quiet in the building. We were hesitant that it had no staff, but a call to the owner with a quick question helped us out right away. We would stay again and recommend it.

We rented 3 paddle boards for 3 Hrs. Very easy to rent. Everything is done online and they send you a code to unlock whatever you have rented. Everything went smooth. Was able to rent same day. Boards were very nice. Was awesome!

We popped into Port Elgin on a whim, and then stumbled upon the Paradise Inn when we decided to stay the night...literally scanned the QR code in the front door and booked a room! Couldn't have been easier, the whole Inn is contactless, which was amazing. So clean, the beds were so comfortable and great value for money. Can't best the location and with the deck out front overlooking the water, would be tough to beat. We will be back for sure and would recommend Paradise Inn to anyone!! Thanks for a great stay!

Paradise Inn is definitely a beachy feel Inn with a outstanding porch to watch the famous sunsets in comfortable muskoka chairs. Judy and Randy the owners are very accommodating to their guests. A fantastic location to the beach and close to trails and great restaurants! Very clean and great value.

Many people have already written about the beautiful and very clean room and faclities, they are above standard.
I have to comment on the staff and managment - these are truly wonderful people, they are kind caring and really take the time to make you feel important and to show their appreciation for staying at their amazing beach front property.
Because of Paradise Inn, Sauble is one of my favourite annual summer get aways, cannot wait to get there next summer!
