Bathroom door would not shut because I would guess the building has shifted and it.had a solid inch of being ajar when using the bathroom. Room was beyond hot with a warning that you are not allowed to change the mode on the heat/air conditioning without getting a $100 fine added to your bill. Even turning the heat down didn’t make a difference in the temperature of the room. So had to keep balcony door open to cool room down. Sign in the shower warning you will get a $200 fine if you use the shower curtain incorrectly. Unfortunately there was not a sole in the building other than one other guest. Keyless entry and no direction given as to who to contact …. There was a notice you could call only in an emergency. Rules in the hallways. Rules literally everywhere . Rules that were in my opinion rather rude, not necessary and unwelcoming for grown adults paying a lot of money to not be able to sleep a wink. Also was misguided by photos of rooms as I was under the impression all rooms had a kitchenette. There is one group shared kitchen. On the plus side great location, proximity to the beach and walking distance to restaurants.…
We just returned from an amazing weekend Sept 16-18 with 24 girls friends staying at the Paradise Inn on the Beach. We are a group of friends are in late 50’s -60. Randy the owner was excellent to communicate with and very accommodating. He was very prompt to return answers to questions we had. The property is beautiful and rooms are clean, spacious and beds super comfy. We loved the spacious porch to gather in the morning for a coffee or in the evening to watch the stars. The beach is steps away and the water is all sand. You are an easy 15-20 minute walk to restaurants, shops and bars. You can also catch a cab anywhere in Port Elgin for a flat rate of $15.00. We were fortunate to be there for live entertainment and fun bands at the local establishments. Pizza was amazing at Queens ( 24 thumbs up recommendations) and our meal was very delicious at Rosina’s …a quaint Italian restaurant. Everything was amazing. Make reservations asap as it is booked ahead! I would highly recommend booking the Paradise Inn on the Beach and we will definitely stay here when visiting Port Elgin area. Thank you to the Birds for providing such wonderful memories! Diane on behalf of our GGW group.…
We stayed Sept. 13 to 15, 2022. Contactless check in was easy and the Inn couldn't be in a better location. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony and could see the beach and watch the sunset easily from our room. The room was very clean and the nicely decorated and the beds were comfy. We had a microwave and fridge. It was quiet and peaceful. My only reservation was the check out time of 10am which is earlier than the industry standard of 11am.
My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay at Paradise Inn very much! Conveniently located across the street from the beach, with a great front deck with Adirondack chairs for relaxing. We booked last minute and we’re only able to book a main level room, but the room was comfortable and clean. Bath towels were wonderfully fluffy! We would definitely stay here again and hopefully book a second floor beach view, next time.
This was our first time staying at Paradise Inn. Never experiencing contactless check-in before, everything went seamless. Our room was clean, fresh, with a king bed, bar fridge and microwave and the property was well-maintained. It is located across the street from the beach. We loved the common kitchen which we used for breakfast. We were able to enjoy the view of the water and sunsets from the patio. Although we did not require them, they had rentals of flat-tire bikes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. Good restaurants were a short drive away. Very nice and clean place to stay.
2nd time staying. highly sensitive to chemical and fragrances. both times no issues which is usually a problem at other hotels. Contactless service is unique but worked just fine. new deck with tables, bbq and great view of the lake terrific
The room was spotless, beds very comfortable and for the bathroom must be perfect. Having a balcony view and great sitting area on the tikkki balcony Having pass codes are the doors is a great option you feel you can leave the property and your belongings are safe
Had a great time with my husband and 2 young kids. The hotel was right in the beach (just across the street), and close to the downtown area. The beach itself was nice. Not crowded, lots of free parking (although we didn't need it), clean public washroom. It also has a nice little playground. The hotel was quiet, the patio was well-kept, and they got a great view of the sunset!! Would definitely visit again!
This place is amazing. We totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. It was a great location, room was very clean and beds are so comfy. Owners Judy and Randy you have a top notch Inn. Can’t wait to see you again Ron and Laurie.
We stayed for the weekend at Paradise Inn so that we could attend a friends wedding near by. The Inn was great, very clean, beautiful room and very quiet. The location was amazing, right across from the beach! Highly recommend!
