The dining room at the Mill Tales Inn is like a monster out of control.!! Most of the wait staff are harried and untrained but some do try to please. The place is famous for the "FISH SPECIALS" but still offers menu choices. Sadly management has lost the plot that when you offer a customer a menu selection, you are...

I hope that people who read the reviews take my experience to heart when deciding on holding an event here or dining in the future. We heard decent reviews on the Mills Tales in, and decided to host my cousins confirmation dinner at 7pm. We had called for reservations since it was a large group of 18 and even double...

We stayed here for two nights and attended a wedding. The rooms are ok and the staff are friendly enough but the management seems very disorganised, it's not a place I could reccomend but it wasn't terrible either.

We drove about 30 minutes to get to The Mill Tales Inn - and it was worth it. The building and setting along the creek will made my jaw drop - considering the only exposure I'd only had was working in the tobacco fields decades ago. I didn't appreciate that Tillsonburg had any restaurants on this par. The service made...

When Milltales first opened, I found the service to be very slow and so I stopped going there but lately my friends have persuaded me to try it again and we have found that the service is much better, the atmosphere is great and the food is really good. Now one of our favorite places to dine at.

Sat April 15th ,7 of our family went for breakfast driving 45 minutes to get there for 9am. There were very few customers. We waited 50 minutes to receive our food which was simple breakfast items!! The waitress was very nice. Food was ok but nothing compared to the Sunday brunches we have gone to before. Coffee was bitter and...

What a disappointment! We drove an hour to this place to celebrate my dad's birthday. The restaurant was not super busy but steady flow of ppl. We ordered our meal and waited, after an hr we asked the waitress if our order would be out soon. She stated yes it was just put up. 2 mins later she came out...

Not only is the historic structure and beautiful setting by the river and park reason to check out The Mill Tales Inn but the rooms are all done in different, pleasing real wood panelling but the food and atmosphere in the restaurant make it more than just a place to hang your hat.

We had been told by friends about this place. We came about 4.00 pm and it was quite busy. We hadn't realized it was fish and chips on special week. The fish and chips were the best we've had in years. Service was great and the views by the window were fabulous. We left at around 5.15 and there were...

On Family Day 4 of us headed to Tillsonburg for the Fish and chip special. It is offered the 3rd week of the month. It was well worth the drive! We waited a few minutes so that we could be seated in the room overlooking the river. While we enjoyed our drinks we watched the ducks diving in the water...
