So I carefully, read over the reviews for this property on here and many other sites. This is something I always do. I read the worst reviews, then the best, then the middle. Just to get a sense of the place and what issues may be there. Some of the criticisms, such as the parking garage were both fair and offside. It is a parking garage and as such it is narrow and short. I drive a full size pickup and yes I was not comfortable in there, but that would be the same for any parking garage. We followed the signs and got to the second level which is where we needed to park. It is a BUSY parking garage as there are numerous shops in and around, so you just have to be careful.

The hotel IS on the 12th floor. I will not lie this was a little strange, but whatever. The first 11 floors are an office tower which explains the layout. The elevators are the first of their type I have ever seen in that you select the floor you want to go to prior to getting on. That said they were pretty easy to grasp. When going up after check out you are limited in going to the12th floor, getting off, then select your room floor. Again this is odd, but it would never stop me from going back. From a security standpoint I feel it's a good thing.

Now the room. We stayed in the king studio which was HUGE. It is basically a full apartment with a kitchen, sitting area, bed area. There is nothing supplied in the kitchen, like plates and silverware. They are clear that this IS an extra at an additional cost. While I found this initially odd, I can totally see their point. If I wanted it it was a phone call away. I for one am totally fine with this setup.

The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom the same. If I had a single niggle it would be the size, and more importantly the dimness of the TV. For such a wide room it's smallish size and the lack of the ability to turn up the brightness hampered me viewing while laying in bed. If I had the bathroom light on and the TV turn in just such a way it was nice and bright. They also clearly took away my ability to manually adjust, that or LG does not allow it. Again this is a small niggle and would not stop me from staying here again.

OK the biggest test. Would I stay here again. YES! YES! YES! The staff were all very friendly and personable. Not that I had to interact with tham a great deal but they had smiles and were more than happy to assist and answer my questions.

Like I said this hotel is a gem. Nicely centrally located and close to almost anything.

It was situated in an office building, check in is on the 12th fl, with (free) parking in a separate building but with direct elevator access to the hotel.

Room and decor were comfortable. There is a kitchen area with range, sink, microwave oven, fridge and dishwasher. However, if you expect to cook during your stay, be prepared that you will have to pay extra for dishes, utensils, pots and pans... And there is no cleaning agents provided.

Breakfast is included, served 7-9:30. Varieties were ok, definitely not great. Free drinks are only provided during breakfast, beyond that, you have to pay for a coffee at the lobby. Also, no free bottles of water in the room.

Bed and sofa were comfortable. Amenities are basic. I had a room with a balcony, view was very nice.

Would like to see the hotel provides recycle bin.

I was so dissatisfied with the service we received here for a number of reasons:

1. I politely asked for an extra blanket. I explained to the lady behind the front desk that the blanket for the fold out couch bed was really thin compared to the one for the bedroom so we feel cold and would please like an extra blanket. She goes “ but it’s still warm!!” Referring to the thinner blanket. She did get me a blanket but the attitude was uncalled for. I shouldn’t apologize for feeling cold.

2. I got a bit of mascara on one of the face towels and after receiving cleanin service noticed the same towels had Just been folded and put back!!!!

3. I told the cleaning service lady that we were going to take 2 towels to the park with us for the splash pad and will return it that evening. She said ok but only replaced 2 of our used towels. How cheap is that? We have 4 ppl who need to shower. Does the hotel not have any extra towels that she couldn’t put 4 clean ones back so we could all have a towel that night?

4. My husband took the kids down to the car so I could have a couple minutes to get ready in peace and as he walked out he flipped the sign on the door for cleaning service. The lady walked in as soon as my husband left cuz she was right by our door. When she walked in she noticed from my face that I wasn’t ready for her yet but before I could ask her for a few minutes she said (very rudely) “I’m NOT coming back!! We have a lot of rooms here!!” And walked right in to work. If that’s not horrible customer service idk what is.

5. There were a few really hot day and our AC wasn’t working. We called a couple of times and someone came to reset it but it still wasn’t working. So one night I called and asked if they could come again and the lady said they’ve done what they could. We need to just call them again the next morning and ask them to send a technician. (Which we had asked for before but no one came). I asked her if someone could maybe reset it one more time since it’s too hot and the kids are sweating. She said ok and that someone will be right there! I waited for maybe half hour and no one came. So I called again and she said “you’re not the only person staying here! We have other ppl who need services too! “ and I said that I understand but when she tells me someone will be right up I expect someone to be right up. If they are busy, no problem. Just tell me someone can come in an hour or 2 hours etc.. but I’m here waiting to put the kids to bed expecting someone to walk in.. then she said the person is already on the way up and should be there any minute. Someone did come after a couple mins and reset it for us. She was very nice. No complaints about her.

We never tried their breakfast. The lobby is on the 12th floor and you can’t go past that in the elevator unless you use your room key, which doesn’t always work. So half the time we had to go up to 12 and then take another elevator to our floor. Overall, there was a lot of disappointment and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Parking is quite confusing as the garage door doesn’t open until you get right up next to it. And in the dark it’s hard to figure out what you should be doing. Additionally, the sign was hidden, so we couldn’t find our hotel at first as well. The morning breakfast is probably the worst I’ve had. But, the room was nice and the service at the desk was exceptional.
