Detailed Reviews
No fault can be found at the Twin Birch, our stay was amazing! Very clean, cottages well equipped, absolutely everything was great. The location is perfect sitting out on the deck watching the boats go by, close to many restaurants, wineries and Sandbanks beach. The owners take very good care of the property as well as the customers. We will definitely go back.

he cottages are at fantastic location at the corner of West lake. The amenities are exactly as described, kitchens are equipped with everything one may need and I would say better than other places. We have never seen a cottage with three types if coffee makers available- drip, French press and espresso makers. Everything inside was spotless clean, the patios well equipped, every little detail was there for convenience and very practical. The garden is by itself something the other gardeners would love to see. So many raised flower beds, huge variety of plants and blooming flowers. The owners Carolin and Alex work tirelessly to keep the grounds and everything looking so good and are also available all the time to answer questions and help. We had truly amazing time.

We stayed at Twin Birches for 6 nights in the West Lake cabin and it was great. The cabins are basic but well appointed with everything you need including a french press and espresso maker. Carolin and Alex are excellent hosts with exceptional attention to detail. Rent a kayak and paddle over to the secret beach, cross the sand and enjoy your own private beach at the Sandbanks. No crowds. We loved sitting on their shared deck for morning coffee and evening cocktails. You can easily walk to the downtown to enjoy what Enid and Grace and La Condesa have to offer. Also the Good Place right next door has delicious and healthy breakfasts and lunches.

Location was walking distance to downtown Wellington, and the kayak adventure to the beach is highly recommended, We will certainly be going back!

Once again Carolin and Alex have raised the bar for accommodation in Prince Edward County. As usual our cottage was immaculate and everything we needed was in place. The thorough Covid-19 precautions that were taken to ensure our safety at check-in also put our minds at ease. It's easy to understand why Twin Birch Cottages continually gets such rave reviews on Trip Advisor. Thank you so much Carolin and Alex. See you next year!

The location is fantastic. Located right on West Lake, a block from the Millennium Trail and walking distance to all the town amenities
We rented one of the small cabins. It was impeccable.
But the reason I would return is the incredible hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts.
You can't go wrong staying here

This is the second time that my extended family stayed at The Birch. Like the first time everything was great. Stephen and Sam….the owners are always accommodating in making your stay a wonderful one. Highly recommend that you stay at one of their quaint cottages, it is well worth it.

Due to COVID we decided to do a honeymoon staycation. This was the perfect place! We got one of the smaller cabins and it was a great size for the two of us. The view was beautiful and the location was central to many other PEC locations. The bed was not the optimal comfort and the pillows were not super either. They had a great directory for local places to visit. For myself the best feature was the fact that they recycle and compost. There is no smoking inside the cabins, unfortunately there is still smoking permitted on the property which was a bit of a downer. Overall, would definitely recommend.

We visited this property at the beginning of the Summer. Right away I knew we found a wonderful accommodation. The property is gorgeous set right on the bay where the gardens are lush, hummingbirds, blue herons and swans were all part of the scenery.
The cottage was so clean and the owners are lovely. We booked for two more seperate visits right away. We were able to walk to Wellington Beach and to Eden Café right in the village. Plenty of healthy food options and the Drake Devonshire is within walking distance as well for take out.
You feel safe, well rested and the views are incredible.
One of our favourite properties to stay even during the pandemic!
Thank you so much.

This was our first time staying at Twin Birch and we would definitely love to go back again. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked very well and kept our cottage cool. Our cottage was right on the waterfront, so we saw swans and ducks swimming in front of our cottage. The cottage was in a very quiet and peaceful area. A pass to Sandbanks Provincial Park was included for our stay. The cottage was within walking distance of restaurants. We highly recommend La Condesa. The new owners seem very nice and attentive, they responded very quickly to our questions before our arrival. Thank you for such a great holiday.
