We had some unexpected news this year which resulted in us not staying in our normal vacation spot. So we decided to try PEI. I am so glad we did, I found this location while searching online and it didn't disappoint. My family and I stayed in cabin 40 for 3 nights in July 2022, and absolutely loved it. The cabin was very much an upgrade to our usual location. It has 2 bedrooms each room has a 1 double bed and 1 twin bed (4 beds total). The closet is bigger in one of the rooms but still tons of room in the smaller closet. There were no dressers, but each room had a stand that you could put your suitcase on and a night stand. The cottage also has an air conditioner in the living room which kept the living and dining room nice and cool, but it did get hot in the bedrooms with the doors closed, we found that keeping the doors open a bit helped a lot with this. We also had some very high temperatures this summer, so that played a part as well.

We had no problems with WiFi at all and the TV was nice and big. As it is an open concept dining/living room there was plenty of room for the four of us to lounge, eat, watch TV and not feel cramped at all.

The kitchen comes equipped with a dishwasher as well so no having to do the dishes by hand if you don't want to. Plenty of cupboard/drawer space. It even has 2 ice cube trays in the refrigerator if you are a fan of ice, although it wasn't pre-made.

Another upgrade for us was having a washer/dryer in the bathroom, the bathtub is also deeper so would be great for a bubble bath.

The pool didn't disappoint either. I haven't been swimming in years and let me tell you it was so great to do this. I was expecting a little bit of a walk but it was much closer to the cabin than I anticipated. I didn't get a chance to get in the hot tub so can't share that experience. As someone who isn't a great swimmer and does rely upon being able to hold onto the edge of the pool in the deeper end, I did find that the sides are angled in the deeper end of the pool so you can't stand right next to the side of the pool, this resulted in a few stubbed toes.

The pool also has a ladder to get in/out of it or steps that you can walk up/down. It has tons of chairs/lounging chairs to use along the sides. We had such a great time here that upon check out we booked for next year for longer.

We stayed in the duplex cottage. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The pool and the hot tub were great. The property has beautiful big trees that provided shade. Location was great. Close to all amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 5 days and couldn't have been happier with our stay. These are not luxury cottages, so anyone commenting about old furniture or cabins is rating the wrong thing in my opinion... for the price you pay (one of the cheapest in Cavendish), we got a duplex cottage (but you couldn't hear much noise from your neighbour anyways!), which was spacious enough for a family of four and all our luggage and groceries, and also one of the cleanest places I've seen in a long time. Housekeeping was in every day to wash the bathroom, change the towels, etc. Impeccable cleaning!

Location: close to everything! Green Gables, PEI National Park and beaches, attractions, restaurants, you name it.

Included: our deal included rental for 5 days, plus 5 days to PEI National Park, plus Sandspit Amusement Park (which we enjoyed), plus Shining Waters Waterpark (which was decent.)

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, and all bedding and bathroom needs included, so you don't need to drag it all with you from home. There's also high-speed wi-fi, included in price - this was a great feature.

All in all, SUPER worth the money.

The pros were a good location and good water, temperature and water pressure.
The cons were many. We rented a small cottage with the kitchen due to dietary needs and desires. The kitchen essentials were in disrepair. The coffee maker leaked all over the counter and the stove never worked. We were told too many different stories about repair to list here, but bottom line was after being lied to numerous times it turned out that they could no longer gets parts to repair it because they no longer make them. Ours was not the only unit with this issue
We asked for the manager but were told it was her day off on several different days. One office staff gave us two different phone numbers for the manager, the first did not work and the second was a wrong number yet we were told that staff member texts her on the first number, then we were told they never give out the managers number under any circumstances. The manager apparently told staff she would call us on different occasions but never did call. Maintenance man was not there and was there during same conversation. It became ridiculous. It took us some time to find restaurants as far away as Charlottetown to meet our needs and luckily we had the resources to be to meet the additional costs that were not insignificant. The unit was dated, the furniture in general was old and in some cases in disrepair. The bed was not very comfortable and the living area window sill had mold. I would not stay here if there was any other option and there are many others options in the area. It was easy to see why payment was demanded 15 days before arrival.
We did in the end receive one days credit for our stay after many attempts to get ahold of the manager which we were never able to. Poor.

We booked 3 nights in cottage 10. We noticed a few beetles on the floor the first night. The second evening we returned and found dozens of beetles which we disposed of. Later they were found while in bed and continued to crawl out all night. NO SLEEP. Staff were understanding and we cancelled our last night. We were reimbursed for the cancelled night and checked out by 10am and left the province a day early. Hopefully this problem will be taken care of as this is a great location and the cottage was otherwise clean and well equipped.

Our cottage was spotless and so close to all the attractions in Cavendish. The kids loved the pool and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottages to anyone visiting Cavendish. Can't wait to come back.

Half an old cabin with furniture from the 50's and a TV from the 60's for the same price i paid for a great room at the Delta Sherbrooke on my way to PEI. No wifi access in the cabin not even a continental breakfast. But it is well located near Anne of G.G. and next to the golf course. The room was clean and the bed was fine but they seem to charge top dollar yet put nothing back into the property.

Nice location but the cottages are very very outdated. Clean cottages and have everything you would need for a vacation in a cottage. Grounds well maintained. Service was great. Close drive to Anne of Green Gables.

What a perfect spot. Beautiful cottages with a green gable feel. Housekeeping came everyday and left the place immaculate. Front desk was great, it was so close to everything you could need to see in Cavendish! The cottage was perfect it had a bbq, fully stocked kitchen, comfy couches, lots of drawer and closet space. I already wish I could go back!

Loved the duplex cottage...very clean...the property has beautiful mature trees making it feel tucked away but the location is central to all activities.having teenagers and being so handy to the attractions they were able to walk where they wanted to go and we could relax on the cabin patio.so glad we stayed. :))
