Lots of activities for the children. Store had very good prices. Staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were being cleaned on a very regular basis which was very nice. Had a nice little bike/skateboard park for the kids. Also they rent r/c cars which is fun for the kids.
We did have a concern with the petting zoo it had an electric fence at the same level our children put their arms through the fence. This should be unplugged in the day or mesh put around the bottom of the fence to keep the animals in. Our children touched the fence and got a shock. Not very child friendly.
But overall an awesome campground we will be back.....maybe even this year.
The Inn looks lovely and it's very clean inside. The locks on the door are a bit weird.
THE BEST THING is their BREAKFAST. They give you these coupons to a real restaurant called Rachel's and their food is AMAZING.
We also saw a cute kitten there and played with it for a while...
Location is great too. Right next to Green Gables and National Park.
Both my sister-in-law and myself slipped off of our steps and fortunately were not hurt too bad.
Spoke to owner and she said no else had complained, I suggested she go and look at all the spots located on the ''hill', all were jacked way up on the step side of the trailers, they need to level off the camp spots.
We had no children with us but it looked like a wonderful place for families to have a good vacation. Brian Savage
Breakfast was a surprise. You got a voucher to the local restaurant. While the food was good, again I missed the chatter with the host and other guests. Also there were no "homemade" goodies. we had a substantial breakfast of bacon and eggs and toast and coffee BUT no fresh fruit or juice (typically you get this at a B&B). you could order these items and PAY extra for them.
So overall VERY disappointed. If all you are looking for is a room and a restaurant, great; if you are looking for a REAL B&B, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
