Our family stayed here for our family vacation this summer. First of all the staff at this resort are very friendly and they do take garbage and replace towels daily. The location is perfect. When staying there, you have all there is to offer in Cavendish within minutes. My kids used the pool extensively and liked it a whole lot. The bed was comfy. We didn’t realize that the places were as small (I do believe the square footage per cabin is listed but I didn’t pay attention). The kitchen is very small but functional. The TV is small but truthfully we weren’t there to watch TV, so it was not a big deal for us. There is a BBQ and chair for the deck. I couldn’t sit outside because earwigs came out at night and I didn’t like it. There were some bugs inside the cabin but mostly spiders. We only saw one earwig inside during our 5 night stay. The cabins were dated (personally I thought nicer on the inside than outside). Perhaps it was meant to be part of the rustic charm. Overall we enjoyed our visit to PEI and I would go back, but likely would choose a different place to stay. For $300 a night, I expected more. I am mindful that the tourist season is short on the Island for these places, so I do understand the higher prices. I just thought for that amount the accommodations would have been better.

Forst, we arrived sunday at 3PM but could not check in before 5PM. So we took a look at the outside of the place. The cabins really need painting. They look abandoned. There were ticks on the porch in spider webs. Everything looked really old and tired. Great pool Great place for the laundry. Bring detergent if you plan of doing laundry, or pay 1$ for a box for 1 load. Inside The cabin smells good when we arrived. The fridge, the kitchen and the bathroom were really clean. The furniture was really old. Sheets were dirty in the couch, which was REALLY unconfortable, but okay for the kids. No pillows for them. Great bed for us. I would recommand to bring sheets and pillows. After a day, the smell of cleaning products disappeared... the bathroom smelled humidity a lot and the garbage can smelled really bad too. We found carpenter ants inside, on the floor and on the ceiling. The shower weren't draining, so we had to shower with water at our ankles. Great changing towels service. TV was old, but with cable. Wi-fi was working great. We left a day early even if the price was completely out of this world. I was just too grossed to stay. Maybe I'm a little princess, so if you are too, just don't go there.

If 1985 was your year, then this is your place. Interior has been upgraded, but the a/c is next to useless for a two bedroom unit, and not that you stay here to watch TV, the toaster is worth more than the TV. Very clean and a great location. But, try, harder.

We had a great stay in the summer. At first it seemed a little overpriced but when you take the location into consideration, it makes sense. Things in that area are typically a bit more expensive. It’s central to everything. Only downside would be the wifi was not the greatest especially in the evening. The cabin was cozy & clean, equipped with everything you could possibly need while away from home. The pool was great. The staff was wonderful. During our stay, when we were on the way to the pool, we passed by who I believe was the owner of the property. It was very obvious that he was busy & in a rush, but he still took a few minutes of his time to stop & talk to my chatter box of a son who kept trying to make conversation & asking him question. I thought that was really nice, I know not many people would be kind enough to do that. Overall it’s a nice, good energy, relaxing place to stay.

The cottage was comfortable and relaxing, and very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you are able to combine eating out with eating in and preparing your own meals for the family. After a day at the beach which is within walking distance, the salt water pool was enjoyable to come back to and the little playground set was fun for our age 9 and 11 year old. It is also a spot where the children can socialize and meet other children who are on vacation at the cottages. The office staff was extremely kind and welcoming. They were also very informative in answering our questions and finding information to help make your stay more enjoyable. Lastly, my daughter had forgotten her loved stuffy that was accidentally rolled up in one of their blankets and the office staff were kind enough to mail it directly to our door, which made my daughter's day! Without a doubt, we strongly recommend Green Gables Bungalow Court Cottages, because of the friendly, kind staff, comfortable cottages, the pool and playground, and the location as well. We are looking forward to seeing you next year! Thank you.

This cabin was so run down and dated and infested with earwigs. The screens were ripped, the furniture was SO old, sheets were stained. The grounds are OK, and the location is good, and the kids liked the pool. We didn’t use the shower because it was right up there with an old camper shower. One of those places you stay and just feel gross after. It was 3 long nights of feeling like you’re sharing a bed with earwigs. WAY overpriced and WAY better places to stay in Cavendish. You’d be better off in a tent.

There are holes in the screens. The wifi almost never works. Everything is very old. The coach smelled bad, The front desk was closed all week "due to covid". The workers are very nice, but overall this place is not worth the money.

This place is probably the worse cabins that were on the mean strip in Cavendish. We had booked for 3 nights but left after 2. The place was infested with earwigs. The outside of the cabins were ran down. There were gaps around the windows and air conditioning units that would allow rottens to enter. We contacted the owners but they did nothing.

Clapboard is falling off the side of the cottage. Roof is rotting with moss growing out of the roof. Steel wool covering up a rat hole in the bathroom. Deck rotting on the pool deck. Nails sticking up. Playground wood rotting away and broken. Complete disaster. What an embarrassment. Staff does nothing for maintenance.

We stayed for two nights, booked for three originally. Very accommodating to cancel our third night. Unfortunately we had to wait three hours to have the cabin cleaned (didn’t get in until 6:30 pm). The cabin is extremely small (bedroom has enough room for double bed and dresser). The cabin gets very cold at night and did not have a working heater. We'll be back to Cavendish, but not these cottages.
