I stayed here with my family (including an infant and toddler) for 4 days and we had an amazing time.

We rented a 2 bedroom cottage and had more than enough space for all of us. Plus, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was really clean.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful, We had lots of questions and requests for our small children, and they did an excellent job making sure we were taken care of (new linen, baby crib, and even an iPad charging cable!).

The resort also had a small playground, and a heated outdoor pool, which was great for the kids. There was also a small soccer and basketball play area that was pretty well maintained (balls were full of air, and nets were set up).

The resort was a 2 min drive away from Cavendish beach, which is a really great spot for swimming and hiking, but make sure to bring some bug spray. Aside from that, there's lots of small amusement parks in the area if that's your thing.

Overall, we had a great time staying at this resort and I would highly recommend this to anyone else travelling with a family in this area!

We stayed here for a week whilst exploring the local area. Our cabin was clean and an ideal place to stay. The facilities on the complex were excellent- great WiFi, a lovely swimming pool area and lots of sporting activities to keep our teenagers entertained. Being able to use the laundry was very helpful as we are away from home for such a long time. The local was perfect! Eateries round about and an amusement park next door! Would definitely recommend

Excellent location. Cabin was extremely clear. And quiet. The pool was wonderful. Pleased to see basketball net and volleyball net.
Only down fall was the worse than expected hideaway bed. While most are difficult to sleep on, this mattress should be put in the garbage.

We have visited this place on more then one occasion. I believe we have been here 4 times and will continue to return when visiting PEI. Within, walking distance to all attractions if you don't feel like driving. The pool is heated and clean, staff are very friendly and accommodating.

we were not too happy we couldn't find a place right at the beach, so we booked a couple of nights at this lodge and we hardly missed being close to the beach. It is located right at the entrance of the one the Cavendish Provincial park ( beach). We could have walk but it was 5 minutes in the car. The lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful, she gave us really good advice about restaurants in the area and where to buy lobster. she even offered to let us use their boiler and utensils needed to eat lobster in our deck. we loved PEI and this property is really well located. We loved the boardwalk, full with shops and restaurants. We could even walk to the grocery shop a block away....

Great time-Great experiance!

We scrambled to find a place 2 days before we flew into P.E.I. after cancelling our reservation to the Clarion Gateway Resort due to the negative reviews.
The cottages were small for 6 people in our party, however they were kept very clean & the beds were comfortable.. We really enjoyed the fire pit every night, telling stories and roasting marshmallows. The kids had a sandpit, swings, slides , etc. all within view of the cottage. The beach was a 3 minute drive, and mini golf, (right beside us)and the boardwalk were right down the road.
The owner was very accomodating and after chatting with him explaining that we are city folk he set us up to visit his sons' dairy farm for a tour. It was a great experiance for the kids.
We met some nice people from New Brunswick who had children the same age (7& 9) whom we will not forget.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Cabin 17 and it is a great place for young children as it is away from the traffic. Also the pool, playground, and sandbox were all in front of these cabins and we could sit on our deck and watch the kids in the sandbox. There are fire pits and plenty of chairs available for sharing the fire. Interior was just basic but had most things we needed. Barbeque on each deck. The only negative thing I could say is they had a wire brush for cleaning barbeque and these should be removed as they are dangerous. We went to Dollar Store and bought a wireless cleaner to leave there. Everything was clean, staff were very friendly and grounds and pool were well taken care of. Very close to Boardwalk and other attractions. Would stay here again.

Not so hot
