Stayed at the Singing Sands Inn Motel long weekend in Aug. although the motel is older, (much like myself). I found the rooms were very clearn, the beds I have to say were very confortable. THe morning breakfast was very nice, not ham and eggs, however fresh OJ good coffee yogart ceral and baggles. All good. THe family which run the motel were very friendly. Late check in were great, your room was ready, lights were on waiting for you. You were trusted to stop in the morning to book in. Yes I will be returning!

Location alone makes this the place to stay if you want to spend your time at the beach. We had a second floor room and you can see the tops of the buildings at basin head from your window. The staff were very friendly and approachable if we needed anything I wouldn't hesitate to ask. We arrived at supper time and ate in Souris then walked the beach in the evening and were checked out and back at the beach by 10am so we didn't spend much time at the motel. There is a pool and labyrinth on site which we didn't access but were told about. The rooms are dated (which really doesn't matter to us). Our little girls thought the pink bathroom was very cool. The motel was very clean. The breakfast is simply toast/bagels/cereal and yogurt so if you are looking for something more than that you may want to go into town.

The room was clean, but a bit dated ... pink toilet and sink :) Close to Basin Head Beach and Souris town. Service was great and friendly. Included a continental breakfast. Outdoor pool and some decent sitting areas outside.

Great location, and clean. Loved the labyrinth, and the host is lovely. I personally like to be able to open a window in my room but all windows were tightly sealed shut; also the rooms smelt quite musty. The breakfast was minimal and really, I think a few more scoops of coffee in the pot could make a world of difference.

Next time, just tell us if you need help getting the window open, or if you'd like us to make another pot of coffee, and we will gladly oblige, but then it would not be as much fun writing a review, wouldn't it?

Hotel is old but very clean and that matters most. Dining area much like my nana's house. Continental Breakfast was really great with many options and coffee very good. Staff helpful and friendly with local information. our main reason for staying here was to be around the corner to basin head. Internet not working for us most of the time but that did not matter much. We would stay here again if in the area. Thank you.
