This hotel is a gem it is very clean and the breakfast is great. The owners are very welcoming and it is close to the waterfront, Victoria Playhouse and all the little shops. I will definitely visit this place again.
rooms were clean and comfortable. I stayed in a king suite which although it was an old building was quiet and clean. The Inn Keeper was quite friendly and accommodating. Although I reserved for 3 days I needed to leave after 2 and he did not charge me for the cancelling my last night. athough it was hot during the day each room had a ceiling fan which worked great and at night the fresh air coming from the water cooled the room perfectly. Breakfast was included and the meals were great, Eggs benedict on the first day and Quiche on the second along with muffins, cereal, yogurt and other stuff. I would stay there again
The house is charming and tasteful, the rooms are thoughtfully decorated and are comfortable. The grounds are are delightful and provide full views of the beautiful village of Victoria. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and appetizingly presented. Richard and Wendy are wonderful hosts and considerately provide an enjoyable vacation experience.
Victoria is a hidden gem and the Orient is the crown jewel! Lovely host and great location. We booked the Victoria Suite and Seawind to accommodate our annual girls weekend trip. Covid-19 precautions were in place and we were thrilled with everything. Fantastic breakfast served in the morning! Highly recommend this lovely spot!
Victoria was my favourite place visited in PEI ! i loved the village atmosphere and the friendliness of the people. The Orient was a great place to stay, convenient, comfortable, spotlessly clean and the most delicious breakfast... want to come back!!!
This is a unique charming place and we enjoyed our stay in this great little town, Even though it is an older hotel it is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Patricia was a delight and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this B&B again.
A lovely hotel, very friendly host and the breakfasts were outstanding. The room was spacious, with a small separate sitting area, and a very roomy bathroom. Hot water was plentiful, and the host made himself available at all times.
This is a rather old world property, but is in very good condition. The rooms are immaculate and welcoming. We were especially pleased to have the Victoria Suite on the 2nd floor with a sitting room, spacious bathroom besides our bedroom. Breakfast was delicious, served promptly after 8AM. The entire stay was marked by very pleasant service from everyone we encountered. The village itself, despite lots of tourists, maintains its quaint character with lots of lovely old properties to see, good restaurants and friendly shopkeepers.
We had a lovely night at the Orient. A few relaxing drinks in the main bar listening to good music before venturing upstairs for a delicious meal amidst friendly service. The prices were eeasonable and the atmosphere was great
We did benefit from flexibilty when booking out of season - thank you! Enjoyed the very nice and clean room, excellent bed (!) and view and certainly the very special breakfast which is prepared with love to the details, homemade and delicious. We recommend this place to all PEI travellers!
