Close to Confederation bridge, this Inn/hotel/B&B combines traditional accommodation in a fun , well kept place. We found prices reasonable and welcome warm. Good suggestions on local eating options. We lucked into a 2 br suite that was the last room. A fun town to just walk around. Met couple from US east coast who have been coming back annually for 12+ years. Breakfast could be a touch updated. I suggest you reserve in high season.Well worth a stay.

Thanks for reviewing. So happy that you had a good time in our village and that you met our east coast regulars. Hope you had a chance to go kite flying with them. Breakfast is always a challenge in that some guests are reticent to try something too daring. Always scanning the internet for new ideas, but if you visit us again, give me a bit of notice and I'll bring my A game. Take Care.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this B&B. Seashell Room was clean and bright as it faced west and street level. Queen bed was comfy and had a great nights sleep. No issues with sounds from other guest rooms, Dining area bright and cheery. Breakfast was very good, Patricia did an excellent job letting guests know the buffet routine and serving of the hot items, A charming individual and enjoyed my conversations with her, a definite asset to the Orient Hotel Downside the room ensuite in room 3 (seashell) was really tiny....and the shower was even smaller. Yikes, lucky to turn around without hitting the sides or the shower door, Room located on top floor. Guests with mobility issues, this is not the place for you...there are a lot of stairs

Hi Sandra. Thanks so much for your review. Yes, the Seashell Room does have a tiny bathroom that really was a feat of engineering to create. We advertise that room as "cozy" which is code for small and we try not to rent it out for extended stays of more than a couple of nights if possible. It's quite comfy for a day or two before one starts feeling claustrophobic. Our village gets quite busy in the summer and it's often hard to come by accommodations so it's nice we have this room. We like to think we make up for it's lack of space with our village charm and, of course, breakfast. And yes, Patricia is a keeper. We are lucky to have her. Thanks once more. Hope to see you again!

An admission, this was our first stay in a B&B. I was very pleased. The room had a bedroom, seating area and an over-sized Bathroom. Now it was not cheap! But, we enjoyed the stay immensely. A very good breakfast too!

This hotel is beautiful in a really great little village by the sea. I'd highly recommend a visit here if you're in PEI. When we walked through the door no one was there to greet us, but upon further investigation I found the right door to knock on, get our keys and find out when breakfast was. The people who ran the hotel were very friendly. The breakfasts were stupendous. It was nice that there was so much room for parking in the back. Everything is within walking distance, with some amazing artisan shops nearby, good food to eat and even a theatre. Thanks to the help of the owners, we were able to get tickets to the theatre with great seats!

Spent our last night on PEI at the Orient Hotel. What a great place to stay. We had the driftwood suite, which was very spacious with a little sitting area as well, as a large bathroom. Excellent hot breakfast, and was able to put away our bikes for the evening. Wish we could have stayed longer there and in Victoria. Very nice little village.

Spent over a week in this bed and breakfast. Rooms were clean, neat and had character. Owner was hospitable. Breakfasts had a gourmet touch. The place is located in the quaint artistic community of Victoria-by-the-Sea. Great jump off point to see southeast PEI.

We were delighted with our 3 day stay at the Orient Hotel B&B. Our room was large and had a large bathroom. We over looked the Main Street. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Peter the owner was very helpful with lots of info about the area and made a excellent breakfast which was different every morning of our stay. Patricia who served our breakfast was very friendly and had great tips of the area. There is no dining room for meals other then breakfast but there are 3 very good restaurants, a live theatre, gift shops and galleries within a short walk from the hotel. They also had a building that we could store our bicycles our of the rain. Enjoyed our stay.

This is an old hotel that was built for sailors who got stuck when the port froze. It has been refurbished and turned into a great B&B by the owner Richard who is very hospitable and helpful. Our rooms were on the third floor and Richard helped us carry our luggage up. The rooms were very comfortable, actually suites with sitting room, bedroom and bath. I was a little concerned before we arrived because the rooms are not air conditioned, but it does not matter. We were there during what they considered a heat wave, but the room were very comfortable with the window fan and the breeze off the ocean. Richard prepared the BEST breakfasts each morning. We were there 4 days and did not want to leave. Patricia also was wonderful. After telling her what we wanted to drink

A lovely, quiet location in a picturesque village. Proprietor was hard-working, friendly, and helpful. Room was clean, quiet, and comfy; and the bathroom was uniquely decorated and really nice. The old building has been well-restored and it is being carefully maintained. It was lovely to see a heritage building so well cared for. Breakfast offered cereal, toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt, and a different hot egg preparation each morning.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. I mentioned to the owner "you don't always get what you want, but you get what you need". I was trying to find a hotel in Charlottetown, just because that city was mid-point to the island. Unbeknownst to me, there was a huge Seafood Festival during the time that I wanted to visit. I called the tourist board and they recommended this B&B. I am so glad! It is about 1/2 hour from Charlottetown and we really don't like city type places anyway. So this was perfect. We had a nice room with a king bed and a suite area with a big bathroom. I recommend splurging for that, if that is available. The hotel is within walking distance to everything (It is a super small town.) but a few restaurants and a playhouse! Breakfast was great with
