When I booked I requested an easy access room because I have mobility issues. When I checked in they were very nice and the woman ( whose name I didn't get but wish I had ) assured me that they chose a room for me that we could just drive up to and unload the car. That was great but...

I booked this motel based on TripAdvisor reviews and prices. I have to admit when we finally found it (on the very eastern end of Carleton-sur-Mer, far out of "town") I was pretty taken aback - from the outside it looks like a very vintage 1960's/1970's "motel". I actually asked to look at the room before booking, as I was...

The motel is placed in a very useful location, on the main road of the itinerary loop that runs all around the Gaspésie. The room was big, comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony, on the wonderful Baie de Chaleurs, was fantastic. The owners are very kind, hospitable and helpful. A very good place to stop during our...

Great motel with great service, older building well kept, clean, shower water supply could be improved. Would suggest adding a better fence along the cliffside for safety reasons. Besides that maybe look at upgrading the decor... Although it is clean, it is dated.

This beautiful venue overlooking the ocean is very dog friendly and clean. Unfortunately, no air conditioning, so we brought our own fan! The views from this motel are exquisite! You can walk for miles along their beach. Unfortunately, no breakfast!

An older property that is very well maintained. We had a room with main entrance facing the highway with a balcony with a nice view of the Baie des Chaleurs. The room do not have air conditioning but opening windows for cross-ventilation cools the rooms down overnight. Light sleepers may be bothered by the proximity of the main road (Route...

I couldn't have stayed in the same motel as most other reviewers. The fifty's decor may be retro, but at $116 a night, this place is a dump; at half that price it may approach okay. No air conditioning, we baked all night. Aside from ancient wallpaper, a closet for a bathroom and iffy carpet, I haven't seen a TV...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Motel Carleton-sur-Mer in July for a friend's wedding. The Motel is app. 15 mins away from the city center so you will need to drive into town for pretty much anything. The great thing is the motel is located directly by the water and offers a beautiful view, especially if you are staying...

We picked this based on reviews and location and were very pleased. We are on the Gaspe once a year and have tried a number of places. (The one we tried last year ran out of hot water....quelle disaster after a week long river trip). I corresponded by email with Marielle whose English was very good and she was very...
