For our first trip to Quebec for snowmobiling, my husband and I chose Mont Laurier & the Comfort Inn. With a restaurant right on premises, a spa/sauna and trails 150 feet from the door, we made an excellent choice. There is plenty of parking for your truck and trailer and security for peace of mind. You are even able to “book” the spa privately for an hour which is just heaven after a hard days riding on the trails. The staff here were fantastic. Very friendly. Don’t worry if you don’t speak any French (which a lot of people use as an excuse not to visit Quebec) I do speak a little, but almost all the staff also speak English. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. Our first room had a gorgeous shower (no tub) which my 6’+ husband loved. We did an overnight trip to another hotel and back and they took care of moving our luggage to our second room for us (so it didn’t have to sit in a freezing truck for 2 days). All in all a great experience and if we visit Mont Laurier again this is definitely where we would stay.…
The room in this hotel was clean and inviting. The service was impeccable. The shower was beyond what I expected. It was definitely an amazing experience. My husband & I will definitely return and we will highly recommend it to our friends!
If you are looking to stay in Mont Laurier for snowmobiling, or other activities, look no further. Hotel is clean, updated, restaurant on-site, very close to trail (maybe 100 yards) and gas (across the street), good security (cameras and security system) and most of all, excellent staff who speak English and are always willing to help. They are always willing to make phone calls so that you don't have to worry about language barriers. For example: for dinner reservations, to dealerships when you are having sled troubles, trip planning (like if a particular place is open or if they have gas), etc... Lastly, I would just like to explain their security system. In the parking lot there is dedicated snowmobile/ATV parking section with numerous extension cords that you weave through your equipment and then plug both ends back into an electrical box, then once armed at the front desk a siren will go off if either end of the cord is unplugged.…
We came here to snowmobile and had an outstanding time. This is a perfect spot centrally located on the trails. The food was good a bit pricey but what hotel is not. The staff is more then accommodating and so friendly! They do cater to the snowmobile for sure !!
