We are on a six-week road trip through New York, Canada, and Maine. We are staying at quite a few hotels and motels. This is one of the best we have stayed at. We enjoyed a wonderful stay from the moment we arrived to the hour we left.

The room was clean and tidy. The wooden floors and attentive care made this stand out on all our trips. The beds were very comfortable; we slept well each night.

The wide range of local restaurants that the manager listed for us made dining in Montebello an extra pleasure.

It was a cozy place to relax from all the activities we were doing.

The manager was thoughtful and kind, giving us a list of the restaurants and local places to visit. We would come here again.

We drove all the way from Toronto to Mont-Tremblant for the family day long weekend ski trip, and the little motel is 5 hours away from home and 1 hour away to the destination. We arrived the motel quite late and the manager was still there waiting for us. He led us to our warm and cozy room and explained everything we need to know. The room is very clean, the size is good too. Breakfast is simple, but we got everything we want. Everything about the stay is out of our expectation.

Needed a place to rest for my daughter and I during a COVID excursion.

I was a little hesitant as I had no idea of cleanliness/sanitation processes.

This place was top notch.

Friendly staff and super clean.

Plenty of parking for me and my big car hauler.

Thank you for keeping us safe!

I found the inn to be a top dollar, bottom room experience. Positives: access to parking lot, and a very helpful desk person. (Forgot something important in the room on check out. Before we had left town we got a call to return to retrieve it. Were only about 5-10 minutes from the inn. Much appreciated) Unfortunately, the negatives far out weighed these positives. The parking lot was very accessible, however, the 18 room inn had parking for 6 vehicles. In the living area, there were very few electrical outlets. We had to purchase a power bar to make use of my computer, and charging phones and ipads. There was one very small, round table to place any items. My laptop took up most of the space. There was a low dresser with drawers that had a tv box, and other items. There was no where to put our other items, we stayed for 3 nights to attend a wedding. Many things were either stacked up or scattered on the beds. There was a 10 cup, full size, drip coffee maker. The coffee supplied were the small, 2 cup discs. The lighting was poor. Right over the sitting area there was a nice, adjustable 3 light cluster. Unfortunately only 1 light worked. There was one tiny night table between the 2 queen beds (reasonably comfortable) which was half taken up with the bedside light and the clock radio. There was a quite useful fridge and microwave. We found that, at times, the internet was quite slow. No carpeting, just laminate floors. Now to the quite small bathroom. The tub bath mat had many miles/showers on it. There was no place for toiletries other than the edges of the sink. The entry to our second floor room included about 15 steps on 2 flights of stairs that were narrow and required much care for safety when going up or down. 3 nights/4 days so had some luggage. I would not recommend this establishment. Needless to say. This was both our first and last stay here, should we visit this town again.

We have more than 25 free parking, the clients don't need make the reservation in advance, but we don't have VIP parking except to the clients with handicap. Respect is a basic human need, our staffs are not your servants, if you are be mad/angry for little issue, it is better to stay in the palace, not in a motel. Thank you

I booked a 1 night stay at this motel, which I cancelled by mistake while using Expedia Virtual Agent. The motel charged me the full price. Expedia called the motel twice trying to get the booking re-instated or the penalty cancelled or even just a credit for a future stay. The motel refused to do anything. I called as well, but was never able to reach anyone. I left a message, as advised and never got called. I will never book here again.

The services are bad they don't clean the hotel properly and the breakfast is bad and expensive owners are Asian and don't and are hard to understand because of bad ascent and every thing looks crappy and it's the same price as a 4 star hotel in the middle of the city and the motel should only be charged 60$ or less

This hotel is in St. Andre d'Avellin, not in Montebello.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament in early December. One night for 3 people cost $140 for two queen size beds. Pluses - clean, walking distance to the local bistro, safe area, small fridge. Minuses - thin covers, extra-thin pillows. The only other option we knew of was Chateau Montebello which is easily $200+ a night. I was almost happy that our team lost their game so that I wouldn't have to spend another night at this hotel.

Dear CriCriFischer, thank you for your review. Our motel is in the heart of Montebello (600 Notre-Dame, Motebello), not St. Andre-d'Avelin, which is 20kms away. Please note that we did not charge you $140 for one night. This is in fact for two nights. We gave your a special price of $94.95+tx per night for 3 people. The fact that your team has lost and you cancelled the second night at the last minute left us no choice to charge you cancellation fee. Please note that our cancellation policy actually states that the full amount of the night will be charge for cancellations with less than 48 hours of notice. We only charged you $30. We are very sorry that your team has lost but we just wanted to clarify our pricing.

If we had only stayed on that first night of our Maritimes road trip, I would have given a lower rating as I was not impressed. The floors in the hallways squeaked (perhaps it's a sub-floor?), the furnishings were rather tired-looking, the AC in the room was so loud, the bathroom was adequate, and the beds were not especially comfortable. The room, and the motel in general, seemed in need of a "face lift." On the way back through Quebec; however, we were recognized by the woman at Reception and she offered an upgrade--which we gratefully accepted. This room was accessed by a driveway beside the motel that went down to rooms below. It had its own entrance that was shared by one other room. There was a small above-ground pool and a wooden swing across from our room that we hadn't noticed on our first visit. When we entered the room we were pleased to see it had been "kicked up a notch" from the other room: electric fireplace with two comfy chairs and a desk all in one corner, a glass table and four chairs by the window, and the beds had brocade-type bedspreads. It all looked lovely. Bathroom was a good size. So if you have the opportunity, ask for one of these rooms (I believe they are single digit room numbers: 1-9).

Room Tip: Definitely ask for Room #'s 1-9. Avoid the double-digit rooms.

The hotel is reasonably priced and is ideally located in the center of Montebello, Very friendly staff. Lots of nice little touches in the room, like a vase of dried flowers. And the floors are hardwood! Loved it.
