We booked our wedding at a venue 1km away. We called 3 months in advance to advice hotel that we would be having a wedding and that many of our guests would be staying at the hotel. They asked us how many rooms to reserve, asked for our names and told us that our friends and family would get preferred group pricing so long as they booked their rooms 2 weeks prior. However, nearly 2/3 of our guests informed us that when they called to reserve a room, the staff never knew about our wedding. I called 2 more times to assure that the staff was well aware, but this pattern continued. As a result, some of our guests stayed elsewhere.

The Travelodge is a renovated motel from yester-year, with refurbished beds and bath fixtures. It is off the beaten path; quiet, clean, and a comfortable bed. The continental breakfast is extremely basic. Our dog appreciated a vacant field to run around after a long drive. We’d stay again. On the other hand, I’m still trying to resolve with Wyndham customer service a deceptive reservation. I asked to reserve pet friendly room, understanding there was a $20 canine add-on. The quoted price seemed reasonable with that add on. In reality I was booked and quoted a non pet room, so my bill was $20+taxes more than I expected.

This place is disgusting. Brown water, mold, Worn out exterior and grounds. Wonky TV and AC.. My wife woke up with several insect bites of some kind on her body. Breakfast was basic and that’s being kind. We were denied a CAA discount. Only plus was a pleasant young lady on reception. Our concerns were communicated but not taken seriously( except TV which was fixed)Will definitely not repeat.

There's not much one requires in a one night stay, other than expeditious service, clean comfortable bed and a nice shower or bath. Service was exemplary. If you know how to read instructions and follow directions regarding the use of the shower and the fire alarm system, then you will be just fine :-). Thank you for a great night sleep after a long drive

I had booked two rooms well in advance of the wedding date we were attending in the area and due to a family emergency had to call two days prior to our stay and cancel one room. The receptionist I spoke to on the Thursday could only find one booking for me and so she assured me that I would only be charged for one room. Well they charged my credit card for two rooms and had no interest in taking any responsibility for the error on the receptionist part.

Wake up Wyndham! I don't like to write negative reviews but this hotel needs to be called out They came across as sketchy already at check in . After having prepaid in full online upon check in at 10 in the evening they demanded my credit card or no room. I get it security deposit . After I requested a walk through and inspection of the room the next morning the clerk confirmed nothing was missing or abused. She refused to issue a statement of confirmation nor a reciept indicating paid in full no balance due. All she had to offer was wait till management shows up later in the day or let me take your number( AGAIN? )so they can follow up. Well managment has not followed up so this negative rating is on you . Also I did not appreciate the internet being turned off at 8 am, nor the hawk eye during breakfast nor the " If you have to shower close the door because our ventilation is inadequate." I stayed in this hotel when it was known as the Capri and it was a much better experience. Until this hotel understands that they are in the hospitality business I would recommend perspective clients stay somewhere else. Perhaps managment can now confirm paid in full no balance due via one of my various contacts info that were required.

We had an excellent stay at the property the front desk lady was awesome she was so friendly and helpful the only thing I would have to say negative about our stay was the continental breakfast was really bad they didn't even have hot water for tea or tea bags And not enough food to supply everybody that was staying there that day.

THIS HOTEL SCAMMED OUR CREDIT CARD FOR $400 ON OUR WEDDING DAY!!! We booked rooms for my family for our wedding in Rigaud. Everyone paid for their own rooms but they charged our card too, even though we did not stay there. We asked about it the next day in person, they lied and said it was just a hold from the reservation and it would come off in a week. It did not!!! Then they lied when we called again and said we were “no shows”. Wyndham Resorts customer service is appalling too, had to chase people down for a response for the next 2 month only to be told that they don’t care, it’s a chain so they aren’t responsible for what that owner/operators do to the customers. We found out after the wedding they also scammed our best man who booked his room from Scotland, put him down for the wrong dates a month earlier and charged him for 2 nights no shows. Just like us, no one even called him on the first night of “no show”, they just took the money off the card and said nothing. They are running a racket with peoples credit cards, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD NUMBER Also super filthy rooms from what my guests told me. You’d be better off sleeping in your car than stay here.

We reserved four rooms for guests coming out of town for our wedding in August. We used our credit card to make the booking but were clear from the start that our guests were paying for their own rooms. We called before check-in that day to confirm our guest would be arriving on time and that all rooms were to be paid by for by the guests. We were assured by the clerk that there were 4 rooms booked and they would be charged individually to the guests. The day after our wedding, we noticed on our VISA we were charged for one of the rooms for 2 nights. We went to the front desk immediately and were assured that it was a temporary hold from the initial reservation, and that it would disappear in a week, which it did not. We called to follow up on the charges a few weeks later - first we were told that they had no record of us ever being charged so we said we would be contacting VISA. We got a call back later saying that they (finally) found the charges on our card but it was for a NO SHOW. We booked 4 rooms and all four rooms were paid for. We have all the receipts. We know for a fact that no rooms went empty in the hotel that night as other wedding guests seeking a room those nights were told it was completely booked. My question is: if we had been a "no show" for another room reserved 2 nights, why didn't anyone bother to call us? To see if we would be coming the second night? No one contacted us, instead they just quietly slipped 2 hotel rooms onto our VISA without any notice. We tried Wyndham Customer Service; the first girl was supposed to get back to me and never did. The next lady didn't seem to understand what was going on - at first, she said my brother had also booked another room online but that is NOT TRUE and when I inquired for more info on this second booking it was not his name or even the right date. She then inferred that it must have been my fault, and told me that without an email reservation confirmation (which they failed to provide me) that I basically have no proof. Either the people at Wyndham have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they are doing, or they are CON ARTISTS ripping off their customers. Either way do yourself a favour and AVOID THIS PLACE. My wedding guest also mentioned the rooms were not clean. Gross hotel and shady business practices. - 5 stars.

the room was clean and the employee at the front desk was very nice but the property needs some improvment. the breakfast is not worth mentionning in the ad as it is not really a breakfast... it was very basic!
