The rooms we had was nicely spacious, clean and clear. We loved the beds, also big and with good matrasses. The minus point is there is only one light for the double bed so a practical problem when one partner wants to read and the other prefers to sleep. The breakfast was very standard, no nice or bad surprise here. The disappointment comes from the swimming pool. It opens at 9 am only so hard to benefit for whoever having to leave earlier or swim before having a breakfast. The towels at the swimming pool are very small and when you discover that the showers are blocked to avoid people having shower (have we been told at the reception !), you have a problem. Either you go to your room wet under a mini-towel or you get dressed without a shower, so smelling Cl. Furthermore, the showers/dressing room is very oldish with damaged parts. To summarise, nice rooms but avoid the swimming pool experience.

Adequate hotel on a main road with adjacent shopping centre on the edge of Roberval. Staff are fine and service is adequate. reasonable cost and you get what you pay for. A nice pool in the centre of the hotel - strange location, but a refreshing swim The cleaning fluid in the hot tub reacted badly with some of our party

This hotel is not a chateau as its name suggests, but it is nice enough for a one night stay. It is a big hotel with good sized bedrooms, and it also offers an indoor pool which is great. Parking on site is very easy, and the hotel is located in an industrial estate five minute drive from the marina of Lac St Jean.

I stayed twice at this hotel within a week. In general, the hotel is ok. The staff was friendly but the place needs to get out of the 1990s. The elevator is ridiculously slow and soudproofing is not the best. The first room I had was not renovated (except for the bathroom counter). Furniture was old, the TV was as slow as the elevator and the bed was kind of hard. The place was very clean though. The second room was better. The carpet was changed, the bed was more confortable and the TV was ok. Breakfast was generous and tasty.
