The outside of the building is beautiful, but inside is a bed and breakfast on one side which we didn’t go in, and the general store is now objects from India. It is well decorated and pretty to look at, but takes about 5 minutes.
We have stayed here now three times and the quality is maintained. St Antoine de Tilley is village outside of Quebec City The breakfast and we three were unanimous in our appreciation. We had raspberries ,the sweetest ever ,grown in Nicholas,a nearby town..must be in a greenhouse..there was a plate of various melon, local cheeses,muffins,in-house jams, A variety of breads and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, fresh squeezed juice and good coffee. There is a lovely garden but it was too early in the season. We did not need lunch! St Antoine is slightly off the beaten track and as a result little traffic. Too bad!
We have stayed at this fabulous B and B on two separate occasions and really can't say enough about it. At one time this was the St. Antoine de Tilly general store and currently there is an interesting shop in part of the lower level of the B and B that is full of treasures from Bali. The house itself is immaculate and a great deal of care has been taken to ensure that B and B guests enjoy their visit. The gardens are wonderful and well looked after and sitting out back in the evening you can see the St. Lawrence River. The house is very well appointed and is newly renovated..... did I say it was spotless? Our room had an outdoor sitting area and a great deal of privacy. There is a sitting room in the main portion of the B and B that overlooks the backyard and is full of books, interesting artwork and it is extremely comfortable. The breakfast was worthy of the very best five star hotel... it was indescribably delicious and the coffee was to die for. Every detail of this B and B was perfect and the hosts were just the way you'd want them to be!…
This B&B combines the feeling of being in an historic property with all the modern amenities. The old magasin is a delightful collection of carefully acquired gems from around the world selected by the proprietrice. Beyond one finds the new addition featuring modern rooms, a comfortable seating area and a delightful garden. The breakfast was superb as was the company of the hosts.
We were so glad to find this place. The house is beautiful, it is in a quiet neighborhood near the river, our room was nicely decorated with great taste. Diane and Carol are very kind and friendly host, their breakfast is just unreal! If you ever drive pass Quebec city, this is a place that worth a overnight visit!
