This was our first visit to a bed and breakfast in Quebec. We were very happy with it and had a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River from the picture window in our bedroom. Andree was delightful and gave us much information about the area. She couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was really good and we would definitely go back there again.

The rooms looked more than adequet and would certainly spend time there with this lovely lady

I was in need of an accommodation at the last minute Audrey is one one the best hotelier I have talked to during my entire tour of the Gaspesie Peninsula. I explained to her my entire situation and she explained that unfortunately she couldn't accommodate me in those conditions (I needed a place to shower after a canyoning trip passed my check-out time). Without me asking she had a few addresses that could accommodate my late check-out. Coming from the Hospitality world, this is an absolute proof that their are real helpful hoteliers everywhere in the world. I was unfortunately unable to stay at their property but the simple interaction I had with them over the phone, definitely means that they extend the same type of service to their guests.

On our tour of Eastern Canada we spent 2 nights there. The location on the banks of the river is nice, the house looks as if it needed renovating, the room was rather poor. We had an extra bed, which we did not need and only cost place - it was a bit tiny.
The room was not too tidy, everything seemed to be old.
Andrée, the host, was trying to be helpful. It worked, as far as her informations about the National Park de la Gaspésie were concerned. However, the breakfast was pretty poor and it did not make the situation better that the TV was continuously on with an ad on the National Park.
Well, it was the worst place on our tour. Only the fact, that the NP was pretty close, justified the choice of this B & B

We staied here few days ago. The location is good to visit Gaspesie provincial park and the view is beautiful. The owner is very friendly and give you good advice for your visit. The room we were in require probably some maintenance. The breakfast vas deliscious. I really recommend this b&b.

We arrived here after a very long drive from near Bangor, ME, finishing after dark in the rain. Owner Andree's directions were perfect, and she greeted us with hot herbal tea and her pretty can Bella. Our room (Xalibu) had a huge window looking out over the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. It was very well-appointed, with good lighting, ample furniture, a private bath, and free WiFi.
The common area is comfortable, attractive, and convenient. The breakfast is fresh and local, and well-prepared.

This pretty gite is right on the water - beautiful sunsets and daily exploration of tidal pools, and located right in picturesque St. Anne des Mont. Very close to the Parc Gaspesie (a must see for nature enthusiasts - we saw five moose on our hike!). The owner is a sincerely kind hearted woman, who is very passionate and knowledgeable about local flora and fauna, and makes a great breakfast. A really wonderful place to stay!

We spent one night, and saw the most georgeous sunset, right outside the back door for our room, The bed was comfortable, the fridge in the room a helpful touch, but noisy. the owner was professional, and helpful. Breakfast was so-so.

During our trip through Quebec, we visited 15 B&Bs visited and this was by far the one we would not recommend. Yet our first impression was not so good, because we were not welcomed by the hostess.
When we arrived, a young girl opened the door, showed us our room and gave us the key. Much more information she could not give us. Absolutely no reproach to her, because she certainly did her best!
The hostess we have not seen that day, which we found a little bizar. The next morning at breakfast she greeted us as if we had already seen each other. No problem that a hostess can not be there every moment of the day, but a note, or an apologize afterwards would in this case surely have been appropriate and appreciated.
Later on we chatted some time the hostess, but we still couldn’t find the kindness we read in previous reviews (the main reason why we chose this B&B).
Though we must admit that she gave us good tips on walks in the park.

Then there is the B&B itself: old fashioned and shabby. It may perhaps be clean, but it didn’t seem so. The size of our room was ok, but the decor was a bit poor. Ordinary white sheets would already change a lot, some redesigning and repainting would change even more.

The bathroom was shared with two other rooms, and it was the only time during our trip that we had to wait before we could use the bathroom.

The breakfast was not the best quality, but a good quantity. The first morning we had toast and pancakes with fruit, the second day muesli, a bagel and a little pot of pot. What we especially found strange was that we had to wait a long time before we got our breakfast, even though we had said in advance what time we would come. It all seemed not to be very well organized.
The TV was on all the time during breakfast, which was annoying.

The location of the B & B is good: ideal to explore the Parc de la Gaspésie.
Beautiful coastal location; if you get one of the rooms with sea view, this should be super. We ourselves had originally booked one of these rooms, but a change in our travel plans made we had to take the room at the front, because the other was no longer free (fair enough!). But at night it was fortunately still fairly quiet in that room.

Our overall impression is that Andrée probably her best, but that the personal touch still seems to be missing.

Breakfast was quite good, our room had a sliding door that looked out at the St. Lawrence, nice view. The frig in our room didn't work, found out about that from a guest staying there. Our room wasn't real quiet - my wife was awakened by someone snoring in the room next to us. It was OK but I'm glad we were only there for a night.

"Our room had a look on the river. So far so good. It was one of the rooms on the ground floor, with a separate entrance. Still, I would look for another place in St. Anne."
