One of our favourite hotels on our tour. The location is outstanding right in the middle of the National Park. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a sofa to sit on after a hard days walking (climbing)! View from the room was great and the bathroom a decent size, modern and clean. Staff at reception were very helpful even coming up with a kettle to go with the tea bags I’d asked for. The first time in this trip to Canada I’d been able to make a decent cup of tea rather than one in a coffee machine which is always a second best offering.

We had thought the prices for food and drink may be extortionate given the lack of competition in the secluded location but were pleasantly surprised. The packed lunches were tasty and good value and the evening meals good. The pub one the first night was tasty but the Table D’Hote menu in the main restaurant was even better and good value. We both had fish and both tasted really fresh, Salmon and Cod. Staff again were very friendly and professional.

This place is elevated. Extraordinary food. And a service only fitting of it. The serving staff know the caliber of the plates they are placing in front of their guests. There is dignity. This place is elevated.
A very interesting aesthetic exists here. Cafeteria-like chairs/tables against a back-drop of rich dark post and beam ceilings…and great hearth and moose head hanging there. It is hard to reconcile. They will change a table’s linen in front of guests but serve with grandeur and grace otherwise.
And the natural water of this place (the table water) cold refreshing with elements and minerals undiscovered yet. It’s to die for.
This place is elevated. I say well done!

3 fantastic nights in a cottage of the cottage. 2 adults 2 children: cottage 2 bedrooms and 2 queen beds in each room!
Very nice and with all the necessary bathroom and kitchen (microwave, oven, toast, filter coffee maker, large fridge with freezer part
Terrace with barbecue type weber and the must a brazier for nightfall and watch the stars ⭐️ and grill chamalows
Very well placed since all hikes start here and 3 minutes walk from the information center where they offer Things to do such as talks
Very nice place and in addition there is a laundry on site
2 dollars a machine idem dryer
I recommend!

Where to begin? Paying $350 a night for a room is not something I ever do. So perhaps my expectations were too high. We took the gourmet package which included the room, breakfast and dinner. We were surprised how disappointed we were. The highlights include hot buns and whipped butter at dinner. The room was small and nothing special. We understand that there are special sanitary measures for Covid, however, do I really need to bring my garbage, recycling and towels to the collection area in front of the elevators? Yet, all windows remained closed throughout the hotel. The rooms were stuffy and the air circulation was poor, which we now know is more problematic than catching Covid from surfaces like towels and garbage. Open the windows in the bistro people! As well, we are not sure if this is Covid related but the wait times at reception and the restaurant reception was long and seemed disorganized. Some things at the restaurant didn’t seem to make sense. We were able to choose from a menu, however, some meals had an extra fee. A crepe with asparagus, ham and sauce was an extra $5 where as a huge ham and cheese omelette didn’t cost anything extra. The food was nothing special. The staff were friendly and helpful. The proximity to hiking trails was great.

We strongly suggest that the staff open all the windows in all the room in the hotel to let in fresh air! Not only during Covid times!

We stayed here for two nights, the rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for our first nights and we’re not impressed with the service. The waiter looked uninterested and made us feel awkward. There was spa music playing in the background and i felt like i was about to fall asleep. The food was ok, but when asking questions to the waited about the menu he kept looking at his note pad, as if he had no knowledge of the menu. The Dishes are expensive and there is not alot of variety to chose from. They have the same dishes for lunch and diner. There is nothing around the hotel, so you are stuck eating at the restaurant all the time or having to drive 40 mins out of town to get food. Eating at the restaurant gets expensive very fast. There is no dépanneur in the hotel, so you need to make sure to have everything you need on hand. Beware that there is no service at the hotel and the tv has only a few basic channels. The wifi is not very good and keeps getting disconnected. Overall was very disappointed with the hotel, as it’s considered to be an expensive hotel, doesn't live up to the expectations and reputation of the hotel.

We had a lovely spacious and very clean room in the main building. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but the location was perfect, with several hiking trails starting across the main road. The heated pool was welcome after a long day in the mountains.

We were at the Gite the Mont Albert about 15 years ago in the summer, and the inn made an impression on us; since international travel is restricted, we decided to do some fall hiking here. It’s a wonderful remote place run by SEPAQ - Quebec National Parks (the closest town is Ste Anne des Monts on the St. Lawrence River about 40 kms)

Our room in the main building was very comfortable. There was a small tv in the room, which we didn’t use, and the wifi was weak. We knew this and weren’t expecting a lot of facilities. What we wanted to do in the three days was hike in the Parc national de la Gaspésie and eat good food at the end of the day. It’s true that guests may run out of choices if they’re staying more than 3 nights but the quality of the meals definitely compensated for the variety. They had an even more limited lunch menu but they offered packed lunch for hikers.

A couple days we also drove down to the towns along the St. Lawrence in the early afternoon after hiking in the morning.

It was a great getaway and if it wasn’t too far a drive from Toronto, we would go there often. As an aside, I wish the Ontario provincial parks offered an inn of the same calibre as the Gite du Mont Albert

Spent two lovely nights here. The views are wonderful. The pub is great and not sure why anyone would pay more for the restaurant - the pub has floor to ceiling windows. We did a great hike (short - one hour) to summit (not Albert, but another one) where we viewed 360 (the welcome center gave GREAT info). This was also great location for exploring St. Anne Des Monts as it is an easy drive. Really enjoyed this gorgeous & relaxing place. Mix of all ages, couples, families, etc. Saw one moose in parking lot and one on hike, so that was also amazing. If you go to St. Anne Des Monts check out the chocolatier and ceramic artist Natalie - both lovely!

Nights booked by our Paris agency
We loved spending 2 nights at this establishment.
Very nice home.
Large bedroom with double beds.
Very good bedding
Very clean
The dishes served at breakfasts (buffet) and dinners are very good and plentiful.
A few kilometers before our arrival at the lodge we were lucky enough to see a moose less than 2 m from our vehicle. What happiness.......
In a word, we strongly recommend that hiking/nature enthusiasts stay at Mt Albert
