The house has a few rooms but we booked the only room in the house with our own bathroom. The toilet is in what used to be a closet but it's fine. The not too large room had a double bed and a small fridge and it was O.K for 1 night. The breakfast the next day was very nice, we received a big plate of french toast, fresh fruit with coffee or tea.
The owner was a very nice lady who only spoke french so we managed on my high school french.

Ginette is quite friendly and helped us find the good ideas for our tours.
The room is not big but sufficient (with fridge, sofa and WiFi), the bed is too small but acceptable, the bathroom is shared (as already mentioned, it is next to the dining room but we didn't find it annoying), we had a partial view on the sea and access to a patio.
The breakfast is large and sweet (pancakes, French toasts, fresh fruit, coffee ...).
If returning in the area, we might go back to this place.

Ginette made us feel at home in her house. She cooks delicious breakfasts and serves good coffee. We were given interesting information on where to go and what to do. The room is not very spacious but it has all the comfort you need.

The Good: The Gite is just off the main road and about 20-30 minutes drive from the national park. We had a 2 bedroom apartment so lots of space and full kitchen. It was reasonably clean.
Other: the "breakfast" part of the "bed and breakfast" did not seem to exist - at least we were never invited. The apartment was obviously lived in - not set up for rental. Things were bundled up in the fridge so that we wouldn't touch them. No basic items available eg. salt and pepper, sugar, coffee maker (or coffee), tea. The internet worked occasionally when you stood at one particular place in the hallway, but not in the bedrooms or the living room. When we went to pay the night before our departure, the landlord was nowhere to be found - even though other guests were arriving (and simply found a note). We woke her up the next day (and she was not pleased, though it was almost 8 am) and she asked for cash for a stay that cost well over 350 dollars. I don't carry that much cash so she had to settle for a cheque. Overall it was an unusual situation and I do not recommend it.

Confusion on our arrival because she had apparently "double booked " the room with the private bath but she acquiecsed and gave it to us.. Excellent homemade crepes for breakfast choice of homemade (or at least locally once) jams and maple syrup etc.

I stayed at Gite La Ptite Falaise on my way to Mont Albert in Gaspesie National Park. We had a strange situation at hand - I didn't know French and the owner didn't understand English. We actually communicated on her computer on Google translate !!

Despite the communication gap, the hospitality was excellent. Food was made to order and was good. Breakfast was sumptuous. Room was decent and very clean. Price was reasonable - good value for money. The location is awesome too - just a few mins from the main highway.

She has a common room with a TV/DVD player where she plays a slideshow of Gaspesie National Park. That was beautiful too - gave a great feel ahead of my hike in the park.

Go there for hospitality if not for anything else.

Ginette Ross is a sympathetic hostess. She clearly loves running the B&B. Her breakfasts were always fresh fruit and homemade crepes, an assortment of her homemade jams and/or maple syrup etc. which kept us going until well past lunchtime.
Our room was a self-contained bathroom - bedroom - free wifi centre. We had our own bar fridge just outside our door. There is a cat and a dog in residence. If pet fur is an issue, this may not be the place for you. Our room was very clean. It happened to be comfortable weather yet there is a ceiling fan. I don't know if there is air conditioning for warmer days, but Ginette's place is on top of a small cliff and captures the sea breezes.
This B&B is within comfortable walking distance of a variety of restaurants (our favourite being Restaurant du Quai -- see our other Tripadvisor review), the sea coast and the "downtown" core.
We plan to go back when we return to Ste-Anne-des-Monts. The thing about meeting people in B&B's is that you discover more places to visit which you simply don't have time to see until next trip.
