Very nice motel. Amazing beach front, clean and well maintained, quiet, family friendly. Best value for the money!
The Laurent river view is amazing, They let you make fire on the beach (you can arrange at reception, in advance, for wood).
The kids were roaming free on the beach, chasing birds, picking pebbles, watching the seals.
The personnel is very friendly and helpful.
We have been traveling for quite time lately, and , in my opinion this is a hidden gem.
The only fear I have is that the owners won’t be able to keep it the way it is…

The location is perfect! Directly on the waterfront providing breathless sunsets. Its also about 30-40 minutes drive to the hiking section of Parc de la Gaspésie.
The room is clean and spacious.
The hotel restaurant offers 10% discout for guests. Beware, Sunday brunch is popular and attracts many locals. Massive lineup...

This motel is in a good position on the waterfront. It is on a residential road but only a couple of hundred yards from the main road so access is very easy. The room was large with two queen beds but it was a little dated and dark. There are patio doors onto the grass where there are tables which are shared - one table to two rooms. There was a coffee machine, fridge and microwave in the room, but no crockery or cutlery. The restaurant has a wonderful view but we did not eat there so cannot comment on the standard of food. Sainte Anne des Monts is a reasonable size town for this area and there are supermarkets, petrol stations, restaurants and a launderette (which does not sell washing liquid or powder so make sure to take your own or buy some from the supermarket across the road).

Beautiful view of the sea and sunset from dining room. Go there for those.
To eat? Choose from the Table d’Hôte!
Prices are ridiculously high for the quality level of food and service.
My plate was too cool by the time it got to my table.
The filet mignon steak had too much waiting time. Got to me over cooked… 😓 so did my friend’s plate.
ps: The salmon entrée was good but hold the sauce. Desserts were good.

I spent a few nights at Manoir sur Mer with my dad and quite enjoyed the experience. We found the room to be surprisingly large and well appointed for the price and the location right on the St-Lawrence river was really nice.

The onsite restaurant was also quite good and reasonably priced however it can get busy at night so you might want to reserve if you don't want to eat too late as it was full every night we were there.

I'm definitely planning to stay there next time i'm in the area.

This was the only motel we stayed in over 5 weeks of travel and it was great! Beautifully located on the water our room was large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dinner in the dining room and breakfast there as well. Both were delicious. Staff was friendly and the price reasonable.

I would rate this place as excellent. Excellent in the motel category. There were few visitors here so early in the season (beginning of June), and their restaurant wasn't fully open yet. It was quiet. The rooms are a good size. Ours has two queen beds and a kitchenette (hot plate, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and sufficient dishes and utensils for light meal preparation). It looks new. It opens onto the beach and each room has a picnic table of its own outside. The municipal water supply has been deemed unfit pending upgrading of their infrastructure, so bottled water is provided. The front desk clerk was friendly, helpful in providing tourist information, and fully bilingual. The wifi is strong.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Patio doors lead out to a wonderful view of the water with stairs nearby that takes you down to the beach. It was quite windy the night we stayed there so the waves crashing on the beach were a bit noisy because we weren't used to it. But not too bad.

Staff is courteous and can speak English.

You can't drink the water from the faucet but they give you bottled water in the fridge.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, and decor is current.

Bikers beware...parking lot is gravel but not really an issue.

We booked online and were not disappointed with our choice. The man at the reception was very nice and welcoming. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We had a patio door with chairs overlooking St. Lawrence. It was quiet and very relaxing. We had supper at the Restaurant and it was excellent. The food was great and again a water view. We would definitely return and recommend to friends.

This is a great place to stay, our room had a little patio with chairs that was right on the beach. The person at the front desk was very helpful with changing money and offering suggestions for dinner. The very nice continental breakfast was only $5. Would stay there again .

Bonjour, Quel est le tarif du petit déjeuner au restaurant du MOTEL ?
Answer from MontrealDreamers
Montreal, Canada215 contributions102 helpful votes
