Detailed Reviews
This is a renovated place that was not available when we booked our trip in April; We got the family room at the back. It was spacious, well-equipped and very quiet. And the price was right! The owner went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. And it is air-conditioned which was great as the weather wwas really hot during our stay.

This was the worst service I have witnessed in my adult life. The reception was absolutely brutal. The culinary experience is below average, it is expensive, and it ruined an otherwise nice day. And nothing could excuse the rudeness of the staff in the whole experience.
If you visit Saint-Anne-Des-Monts, there are numerous options off the beaten path. Try Hotel&Cie (La broue dans l'toupet) for better, or a food shack. La p'tite Bertha is a food shack slightly out of town. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the view is breathtaking if you go near sunset.
Or then go to Le Sea Shack, a bit further. You will love it. Also, the sunset is awesome there too! And the staff is cheerful!
Avoid Chez Bass. It is going to be a waste of your time and money. They don't really need your business, and you don't really need to be mad at them during your vacation.

Don't take Room 7.. It's a renovated room , looks great BUT you hear every bathroom noise, and I mean like they are in the room with you. and even the neighbour's radio..
Considering the price and look, you would think they would have better insulation than a $45 motel.. VERY Uncomfortable having to whisper in my own room.

I can’t believe I actually went in here twice
On the first visit we received fairly insulting service and left after one drink without eating. But then we returned a couple of days later, maybe thinking it would be better and I have to admit the house red is pretty good. We stayed to eat this time but both meals disappointed. The meat part of the de luxe burger was good but the onions & mushrooms were both sparse & possibly straight out of a tin. Not very luxe. The bacon poutine was ok without being anything at all special.
The real issue we had was the service. I don’t appreciate surly service or a bill being slapped down in front of me with almost an order to pay immediately in a language I only partly understand. Risk a visit at you peril, or take a look at the microbrewery a few doors along. Once again, as for many places in Quebec, it was annoying in the extreme to be in an English speaking country with no menu in English and no-one in the place who seemed to have a good command of the language. God help you if you have no French at all.

We stayed in one of the rooms in the new section (room 6). It was impeccable, one of the best rooms we had in our tour of Gaspésie. The bathroom with a very large shower wow. And what can we say about the excellent restaurant attached to the inn! Recommended!
