Rancho la Puerta is the place to have fun; relax; become healthier; and meet interesting people. It all happens in a pristine, beautiful location where every turn reveals magnificent landscaping and sweeping mountain views. Just one hour from San Diego, you could be a million miles away. Excellent, well prepared food and a seemingly endless list of hikes, activities and...

This is a place to renew and recharge your batteries. Hiking, meditation, yoga, sculpture class, gardening, sunshine, swimming pools, spa treatments and great times with friends... It was a life changing week for me and I am still maintaining my daily meditation practice. Will go back again next year!

We first travelled here in 2000 for a special birthday celebration. If you are into health, lifestyle & the arts, this spa has only gotten better. Only an hour from San Diego Airport, the beauty of the physical surroundings coupled with an exceptionally well trained staff, and management that has kept up with the times & needs of today's guests,...

I have been to RLP 3 or 4 times over the past 7 years, and it never fails to deliver at the highest levels. I have done short stays and the traditional one-week stay, and either option works, but I definitely recommend the one-week (or longer) stay since there is so much to do, and exercise programs are sometimes structured...

Thank you for your lovely review and for sharing the different options we have. It’s great to hear your feedback regarding one week stays as we do structure many of our class series around that length of time. We appreciate this review and hope to see again soon at The Ranch!

I loved Rancho La Puerta and came back a new person. The food, views, people and activities rejuvenated me and I can't wait to go back. I recommend the walk to the garden, a morning hike in the hills and trying new foods you've never experienced. The grounds are breathtaking, yet the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Enough space to...

Just back from my annual May visit.its always like a wonderful reunion with the friends I met there on my second trip in 2004! Seriously, it's like going back to a rejuvenating adult camp. So many activities for your spiritual, physical and mental needs. The food wasn't the greatest this week, I'm afraid. The chef really needs to think outside...

I am overdue in writing this review. I went with a good friend to RLP in January 2014. We booked a two bedroom casita in Villa Sol. This was my first time back in over 15 years so it was great to see that some things changed while some things remained the same. The grounds looked beautiful, every tree and...

This was my second visit to the Ranch, and it was even better than my first. The sunrise hikes were the highlight for me, along with the sculpting and painting classes (the art teachers are amazing and so encouraging even for complete beginners like me). The grounds are so gorgeous and peaceful and like an outdoor art museum. Everyone is...

Thank you for your review! We’re happy to hear that you had a wonderful second visit to The Ranch and returned home rested and rejuvenated. For years I had dreamed of visiting RLP. I've knew many people who had been there and they all came back raving about the experience. When I finally had the opportunity to spend a week there I was not disappointed. It's an absolutely amazing place. Our casita/villa was large, clean, extremely comfortable, and well-equipped. LOVED coming home to a fire...
