I went to this wellness spa with expectations of a week of eating right, exercising, meditating and general overall wellness. What I did not expect was that I would have so much fun that I did not want to leave. This is more than a retreat - it is a magical place to regroup, contemplate, reconsider and on top of...

Having just returned from my 10 (11?) trip to the ranch I'll admit that I am biased, but I was stunned by a review that I just read warning travelers not to come here as a place for rest, recovery and rejuvenation. I've read what this reviewer wrote 3 times and it is so far from the many many experiences...

My husband and I were fortunate to have two weeks at RLP. The property is at the base of an ancient Indian burial ground, it's beautiful and serene. One of the things I really liked about this spa is that it was up to ME to motivate myself to exercise AND determine what and how much I ate. Great training...

Loved returning from a vacation fitter and healthier. Food was excellent. I'm Trying to lose weight, but wellness is my new goal. RLP pointed me on the most effective path! My athlete teen kids and husband also loved the fitness. Every lecture I attended was great --our complaint as a family was that we wished for more time at The...

The early morning hike to the garden of organic veggies can only be topped by the chance to meet the head gardener. If you can try to listen one evening to the founder and hear her speak with such zeal for life. She is in her 90s and you will not forget her. The family who owns the ranch has...

I was pleasantly surprised at this facility. The activities, the buildings, the overall upkeep was fantastic. This is basically a health oriented facility. Many choices of exercise classes, gourmet food, no meat is served, mostly vegetables, a little fish, whole grains. No hard alchohol, wine is available in a cute little building with wi fi access. Friday nite meal they...

The ranch is an amazing place to be your best self. It has everything I love........healthy& delicious food, fun exercise classes, challenging hikes, a wine bar, fabulous people, luxurious spa treatments, intellectual speakers, and beautiful grounds. My week at the ranch with my mom was almost perfect......the only downside was that my mom got sick while we were there :(...

Its hard to put into words why RLP is so special or how exactly it seems to truly rejuvenate the soul and body/ But I leave RLP with a very recharged battery. I didnt realize how tired I was in both mind and body until about day 5 of my retreat at RLP when I noticed how wonderful I felt....

You'll find a consistency as you read the many RLP reviews. This is a special place and RLP is different from most destination spas. The committed week approach -- everyone arrives on Saturday and leaves on Saturday --- enables an ability to meet and really get to know people. To get beyond the superficial. It also allows classes to build...
