This is a basic hotel. Not fancy but very good for the price. It has a strong internet signal and good hot showers. The central hallway is open to the air and full of plants like a garden. Each accommodation has two rooms, a bedroom and a sitting room. No air conditioning but not needed as the climate here is...

Stayed at this hotel for 3 1/2 weeks, it was a great place to stay. All the people that work here are very nice and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The price was totally fantastic, it's right across from the plaza, and not far from the lake which is within walking distance. There is...

This hotel is right across the street from the plaza, Many shops and restaurants are nearby. The lake is a short 3 or 4 block walk down the street. The sweet smiling maids do an excellent job of keeping the rooms (living room, bedroom and bath) clean. Good showers, always lots of hot water. Coffee all day in the lobby....

If we were in our twenties, I think we would have enjoyed the experience here. Now, in our sixties, we expect much more. We stayed here primarily for the location as we were looking for a long term rental right in the city center. It was very convenient for that...The good news: the maids were sweet, trustworthy, and did an...

The location of this little Hotel is second to none! You get a two room suite with bathroom in a heavenly little exotic garden. You ARE in the center of Ajijic, surrounded by sidewalk cafes, restaurants and art galleries. We were there for eight days, had hot water every day, the cleaning service of the room was excellent, the staff...

Our stay was ok. Would not recommend it for long term. The first room had lots of ants. They moved us to another room. Any request was attended to. Very pleasant and laid back establishment. Rooms are dated and for a few extra dollars you can stay somewhere with more ambiance. Breakfast not included.

I have been coming to Ajijic for eleven years. Hotel Ajijic is my choice of a place to stay, especially since Beto and Gabby assumed management about three years ago. They and their first-class staff have been responsible for continuous upgrades, making my visits better each time. It's fun to be here. The location of the hotel is as good...

When I travel in Mexico, I select places to stay based on cleanliness, price, and "Mexico" feel. This place has a lot of that. It's best feature is the location. This is true mexico. The staff is very responsive. Good coffee. Hard beds as usual in Mexico. It's a quaint old place. Worth the price.

A lovely center garden path and no more than 10-12 casitas make this hotel the perfect getaway in the center of town. All (I believe) of the rooms are actually 2-room suites that could sleep two more in the front room. Located directly across from the plaza - the spiritual center of Ajijic - the place couldn't be friendlier, cozier...
