I couldn't feel more at home in a place. The staff has been unbelievably accommodating, helpful and efficient in everything from booking the room to doing our laundry. It's a special little compound with 2 lovely courtyards and an inviting garden with plenty of inviting chairs and tables that afford opportunities to sit in either the sun or the shade....

This is a beautifully decorated hotel just a block off the plaza and next to the Casa de Once Patios, a great place to shop. We stayed in the Arbolla room that had 2 large king sized beds and a semi-private patio. It also had a refrigerator and microwave in the common area outside the room which was handy for...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a great review. Also thank you for the suggestion about the internet. The Treeouse is in a difficult location for the ideal reception, you are right about choosing a different room if the internet is critical. It is helpful when people tell us during the reservation process us they are needing...

We booked here for 2 nights based on a friends recommendation and only then found out it was ranked #1 in Patzcuaro. Well...it's ranked #1 for good reason. Location, décor, amenities, service, comfort, privacy, value for money...the list is long. Stop searching and book here. You will LOVE IT.

I loved staying at Casa Encantada. It has a comfortable, casual atmosphere. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The beds are wonderful. Many interesting art and artisan items are dispersed throughout the property and rooms. There is always someone available at the hotel should you need help and the security is very good. I stayed in the Nest...

Gail, Thanks for taking the time to give Hotel Casa Encantada such a great review! I am glad you like El Nido... such a cozy intimate room,, with plenty of storage! You will love to hear that after Semana Santa, El Nido will go down in price to reflect the difference in the exchange rate. Probably to around $47 US/night....

Everything you read about this place turned out to be true. It was charming, lovely and quiet. There were people with dogs but they were all calm, friendly and happy. Some people have been coming back regularly and had a good idea on which particular room they wanted. On the other hand I chose randomly from the hotel photos and...

My husband Ernesto and I decided to get away for several days from life in San Miguel de Allende and choose Patzcuaro as our ideal holiday. I'd heard about Casa Encantada in San Miguel since it is very respected there but had never had the opportunity to stay there until this trip. It met all of our needs and so...

This is a beautiful B&B. We could not ask for a more comfortable room, the El Jardin was warm and spacious with a lovely gas fireplace. The food at breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly helpful. Luis Murillo was so very helpful with suggestions for shopping, places to eat and arranging taxis. We could not ask for a...

Wow, we have seldom seen a hotel better designed, located, and decorated than Casa Encantada. Of particular surprise it that the sizing of the rooms, beds, and bathrooms is comfortable and appropriate for over 6 foot+ tall guests. Add the art work decor, beautiful common area, included breakfast and the great manager Luis Murillo, it doesn't get any better in...

We loved our stay in Patzcuaro at the Hotel Casa Encantada. Great location close to the main square, artisan shops, and restaurants. Cool rooms, each one unique. Beautiful courtyard and art throughout the premises. Super friendly and helpful staff. The Hotel is immaculately kept. Comfy, cosy beds. English spoken by owner and manager. Highly recommended.
