My wife and I just spent 4 nights and 5 days at El Pedregal. We were part of a birding group that spent Thanksgiving there. I have known Dave and Jennifer for several years and knew that El Pedregal would be nice, but I never expected it to be "something really special". What a place to come do whatever you...

Extremely charming place to stay in Alamos. My group stayed here as part of our birding tour. The individual adobe casitas (little cottages) are both comfortable & lovely. Each has a spacious bathroom and heat / AC. Extensively decorated with Mexican art & artifacts. The main building has the lounge & dining room. Delicious breakfast was served each day, typically...

After an easy drive from the states, we entered Alamos and at the edge of town found our way up a mystical road that was naturally landscaped and full of lots of personality. A short lane led us to the well appointed lodge where we were warmly welcomed by Jennifer and David. The grounds are beautiful, very peaceful, and relaxing....

Pretty good breakfast, we enjoy the swimming pool, good and quite place to get relaxed. No TV on the room. Small town easy to find. More options for lunch and dinner than last year. Perhaps a coffee maker will be a good plus to the rooms Town tours are good tip to know place.

What a great place to stay, especially for anyone interested in birding or other nature-based tourism in the mountains of beautiful southern Sonora! Alamos is a quaint and charming town and El Pedregal is clean, comfortable, and quiet with all the amenities (definitely not roughing it!). Jennifer and Dave not only run a great guest house but are deeply embedded...

This is such a jewel - walking distance to Alamos central, but you definitely are in the middle of nature at El Pedregal. When I told our companions I had looked at other hotels in Alamos, their reaction was, "Why would you want to stay anywhere else?" The rooms are well-appointed, large and comfortable. Our favorite though were the rustic...

Very nice decoration, fields around the property amazing, decoration is simply great. Excellent Service, really enjoy the breakfast. In my opinion, it´s a perfect place! By the way, you don´t need a flatscreen TV because it has amazing views around the cabins. No need to ask for a Suite/Master suite...just choose one cabin and the experience will be perfect!

My husband and I recently spent 2 weeks at El Pedregal and it was a PERFECT place for us. The property is a seamless transition between living space and the natural landscape. There are fantastic hiking trails right on the property and we enjoyed them several times per day. The swimming pool is awesome! We spent many afternoons cooling off...

It´s a peaceful place with magnificient views, we specially recommend to explore all pathways. the Chino cabin was cosy and clean, with all commodities that we looked for. A special mention for the excellent service that gave us mrs. Angela, she prepared us traditional, varied and healthy breakfast the time of our visit (take that of a sonoran couple). As...

We came with another couple to bird and bike. We each had our own casita. Ours, Amapa, had a King bed and was perfect. The photos really do not do it justice. I won´t repeat what the other glowing reviews have said but add that each room has a mini-refrigerator w/freezer which is very nice and was not mentioned on...
