Don't know where to start. The hotel is extremely old and poorly maintained. The pictures taken will show it to be a grand and nice hotel. It is very deceiving. Nothing really works well. The rooms uses a residential $15 door lock that was loose and hard to lock. It wouldn't keep a dog out anyway. The backup latch was...

I have stayed in many Marriot Locations from Miami to LA and from Boston to Mexico City. Without a doubt this is the worst of them all. Upon my arrival the receptionist was not aware of my reservation, they needed to look for about 15 min to find it, it was a weekend and the lobby area was busy with...

Dear Chris_From_Mich, Thank you for sharing your experience in Marriott Torreon, we are delighted to see that you enjoyed your last stay, our bathroom is the most stunning in town and the beds are really comfortable that make it difficult to wake up. On the other side I feel really sorry for the issues about the buffet and housekeeping. I...

We found ourselves stuck in Torreon for two nights. Not a destination we chose but had tire problems and so there we were. We chose the Marriott for what appeared to be a safe and secure hotel that would be comfortable. In fact it was all of that plus the hotel had a shuttle service which was greatly appreciated by...

as an american in this city you stand out. The Marriott at least brings a little home back to you. The staff are some of the nicest I've encountered at Marriott hotels. Always friendly, always willing to help. the 4th floor is executive floor and has its own concierge with a small business center, meals and relaxation couch. great for...

I guess is one of the best in town but compared to worldwide hotels and other Marriott hotels it's not. I noticed several things like: The rooms window faces towards the lobby, so too much noise enters from the outside. It is good detail that there is always a pianist in the lobby but when want you to sleep at...

I stayed there for business. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding and the suites are comfortable. The managers are always present on site and they make your stay a charm. After my second visit, they all knew my by name and they sent a bottle of wine to my room. I felt like a rockstar. A treat overall!

Love being in a place that feels like home. Employees provide a warm service. Loved my housekeeper and restaurant staff showing their appretiation. Piano music at the lobby in a relaxing environment. Definately will return. I recommend the junior suites (corner).
