Organic Yoga (OY) was a very nice getaway, well off the beaten track. Leon was a very accommodating host and his staff were a pleasure to interact with. OY was a little difficult to find initially (because the rental car's GPS accuracy was slightly off), but there are signs, if you know where to look. A benefit of OY is... More

First, this place was a bit hard to find. The directions on the website were not that easy to follow and Google Maps tells you to turn on a logging road that is NOT the right road! The signage at the right dirt road to turn on is small and easy to miss. There is nothing nearby for dinner and... More

I stayed at Organic Yoga for 3 nights during the low season and ended up having the community room all to myself as the only guest at the time! Leon is a wonderful host and checked up on me after I came down with food poisoning during my stay - he is accessible and available for any questions about the... More

Our group of 5 girls stayed here for 2 nights. Leon was a fantastic host- super friendly and answered any questions we had with suggestions for the best travel options and top spots to visit. He was very accommodating with his yoga classes and held them for both mornings we were there. Fresh fruit & bread was provided. It would... More

We had a really relaxing time here, leon was a wonderful host, friendly and helpful. We felt safe, and enjoyed the location being tucked away from the busy streets. He helped us with local knowledge and we enjoyed our morning yoga classes! Thank you!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Close enough to do a full day of snorkeling at Akumal and then take a quick colectivo back. Delicious fresh fruit, jams and bread and whatnot for breakfast. Lovely location full of trees and plants to keep it cool. Spacious and clean rooms with screen porches. Yoga included on the mornings it is... More

I was recently staying at Organic Yoga and felt in love with the place. It's very cosy and homy place with lots of character, Leon built it himself and you can see straight away that he put his heart into it. I found the place to be extremely civilised for the jungle as it has all mod cons and the... More

DO - read OY's website re: general information about OY, location, directions, and take note that there is no food at OY and no market within a short walking distance. In other words, bring your own food. DON'T - worry about having a really unique and lovely stay at OY! My friend and I arrived on a dark and rainy... More

Leon, the owner, is a very nice man. Unfortunately, when booking this room it's not always disclosed that you really must be comfortable with all manner of insects to stay here. Leon showed us to the cottage- a traditional Mayan house with thatched roof. It was early evening and this place is down an unlit dirt road in the jungle,... More

Back in the jungle off the main road north of Akumal. Excellent service and food, good room in a thatched roof casita with attached bathroom. We were there for a dance retreat in the palapa - open screened large room - bathroom nearby. One afternoon we went swimming in the cenote down the road - a unique adventure.
