Spacious and clean condo units. Literally steps from the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant on top has great views but otherwise lacks charm - the included continental breakfast was passable. An easy 20 minute walk to town on the beach. Speaking of the beach it is perfectly fine for sunning and relaxing and they provide chaise lounges, umbrellas,...

We arrived and shown our room, junior suite was booked by a travel agent, which was very disappointing as this room was at the back of the building and overlooking the busy road of the hotel and new construction was going on all day. We were not happy with the junior suite and had to pay an additional $100 US...

Loved this place! Rooms are beautiful, spacious, and spotless. Beds are comfy too. Each room is like a condo with kitchen units, utensils, and everything needed to cook a meal. Water is not potable but there are water coolers in each room. The staff is gracious and there is a small restaurant upstairs with a view of the ocean. Food...

It was everything we wanted out of a thanksgiving vacay. Beautiful place to stay. If you are looking for an all inclusive, this is not it. Rooms were beautiful. Eco friendly so there were so restrictions but nothing painful. Good mix of tourist from everywhere. Not a lot of Americans and as an American myself that was perfect.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The three rooms we booked were all very nice: rm 209 was a 4 bed 4 bath unit. we also rented 205 and 104. All very clean with nice amenities the staff were all excellent. The beach is coral rocky, but does have a sandy front beach with the property. Free kayaks and...

My fiancé, two brothers, mother, and I all stayed here for a week-long vacation, and we couldn't have been happier! We stayed in a 3-bedroom villa, which offered more than enough space for all 5 of us to spread out and have our own space. The rooms and grounds are so beautiful, and the location directly on the beach can't...

We stayed at Las Villas Akumal and loved every minute of it. We specifically chose this because we do not like the large, all inclusive hotels. We were pleased with the location on gorgeous beach and lovely staff. We were a 10 minute walk from the most goregous beach, Akumal Bay, where we snorkeled with the giant sea turtles and...

Spent 6 nights at this quiet complex. Don't think all the units were occupied during my stay. Mainly couples aged 50 and up. There few a few younger couples and young families. Check in was a breeze and the unit was as described on their ad. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils. The maid did a great job in cleaning...

We chose a large suite with three rooms for a group of friends. Kitchen/dining room/living room was very roomy. Beautiful balcony w swing chairs and view of ocean. Nice staff. We enjoyed it. We had enough space to be loud and not bother the neighbors.
