Grand Sirenis Hotel & Resort - Mayan Beach This was our first time out of Canada to an all inclusive resort. I read many reviews prior to leaving and could weed out the complainers and unhappy people from comments that were made. My eighteen year old daughter and I ventured to Mexico during University reading break with some other family...

I have never witten a review here before. We travel quite a bit....the Mayan Riviera 4 times (arranged a wedding there too) Cuba 7 times, San Andres Columbia, Dominican Republic & Contadora Island, Panama, staying in everything rated from 3 to 4.5 star, so I do have something to compare to. The rooms at the Grand Sirenis are the largest...

Just back from this great resort...no sense going into too many details as ome of the other reviews have touched on most of the negatives and positives. My take, it is a great resort but I don't believe it is a five star. I have traveled a lot and have stayed at some great five star resorts. Would I go...

Although it has been a while since we were at the resort ( April 08 ) , we were reading some of the newer reviews as we are considering to go back and had to put our 2 cents in. We had a amazing time at the resort and would definatly reccomend it to anyone who just wants to relax...

We (2 couples) just returned yesterday from a one week stay at the Grand Sirenis. Last year we stayed at Barcelo Maya 10 minutes north and decided we liked Sirenis better. DISTANCE FROM AIRPORT: We paid $100 each way for a private shuttle to and from the airport. Our experience last year was a LONG one on the giant buses,...

My eighteen year old daughter and I stayed at The Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach Resort from January 28th to February 4th, 2009. The trip was a birthday present for her and we had a great holiday together. The resort was comfortable and met all our needs but I think it is important to be clear on what you are wanting...

Just returned from a 2 week stay at this beautiful resort. This was our 3rd trip to Mexico, once to PV in 2007, last year at a different resort in the Mayan riviera, so we have something to compare the Sirenis to. This was definitely the best experience so far. It could be the fact that we had only done...

Having stayed at the the Bahia Principe a couple of years ago, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, Grand Sirenis didn't measure up. We vacationed for 2 weeks & feel our overall opinion of the resort would likely change had we only been there for 1 week. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay & found great features of the...

We just returned from a one week stay at Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach, and overall we had a fabulous experience. We are not very experienced travellers, this was a first all inclusive for both of us, so we came into it with very few expectations. Our main negative experiences on our vacation were to do with Transat Vacations, and not...
