We had not visited the Mayan Beach Garden for several years. On a whim and ten days before Christmas we decided to see if the Mayan Beach Garden had any vacant rooms. Thank you whomever had cancelled because we were thrilled to get your room. Within 10 minutes we had booked our room, our plane tickets and rented a car....

Oh, we do so love our returnees! It was such a pleasure to have you visit us again and enjoy the holidays. I know I told you this in person, but when I saw your name pop up on my reservation screen, I was delighted. Your smiling faces were such a pleasure to see every morning. May you have a...

Beautiful little eco-friendly hotel run by its resident owners with rooms and cabanas right on the sandy beach. Great snorkling within walking distance. All meals served in the main house of the hotel and of excellent quality. So the fact that you don't really have a choice since the closest town, Mahahual, is 30 km away doesn't matter at all.

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your schedule to write such a nice review. We very much enjoyed having you here during the holidays and meeting your family. I'll always remember Kim shooting fireworks with the boys. I hope you are holding up well in the cold and thank you again for choosing Mayan Beach Garden....

MBG is a great location with wonderful facilities. Peace and quiet in abundance. We were the only guests and on the meal plan - which I would recommend. The only problem was that (being on our own) it felt a little bit like being in the movie 'Groundhog Day' at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would have been nice to have...

I'm sorry I was unable to be here for your visit, but I'm happy my staff took good care of you while I was gone. Please think of returning some day when we have more people here - it is part of the charm to get to know other travelers and enjoy their company. On the other hand, if you...

A beautiful place to relaxe and to forget your busy world. The beach starts close to your room and all things people usually enjoying in a waterworld can be easily found here - snorkeling at the coral riffs or going by boat along the coast and much more.. After a couple of days in this kind and outstanding atmosphere we...

Thank you so much for your kind review and for taking time out of your busy schedule. It was such a pleasure to meet you and to know that you enjoyed the environment. By the way, I do want to mention that we finally have Wi-Fi in all of the rooms at Mayan Beach Garden. It was a nice Christmas...

Definitely remote location and that was part of the attraction. The meal plan is a good investment, the meals were all very special and well prepared. The service was amazing. I would highly recommend Mayan Beach Garden. Marcia is a truly great host.

I see you wrote a review on your mobile. How cool is that? I haven't noticed that anyone has ever done that before, so thank you for taking the time to do so. I also want to say that it was truly a pleasure to meet you and your family and that you enjoyed the meals here. Have a great...

Our cruise group of 6 landed in Costa Maya. Having been to a cooking class previously, we were thrilled to go back for again. A 40 minute cab ride -$50 tip included for 6 people each way. Don't let the very interesting roads deter you from a great day. The resort is as close to a Corona commercial as you...

You are right about a fun group! I didn't want to leave your company because you were such a fun. I'm so happy you came and that you enjoyed Tequila 101(even though you had taken it previously - you were clearly a master after the 2nd class). The Huaraches, Empanadas and Sopes were works of art that you all produced....

Want to avoid crowds, swim and snorkel on the Caribbean coast, see wildlife, and have excellent food (requests taken) in a very laid back setting? Try Mayan Beach Garden Inn. You will get to know the owners, Kim & Marcia, who give very good information about where to see ruins or birds, etc. Marcia will go snorkeling with you and...

Thank you so much for choosing Mayan Beach Garden and taking the tamale class. We only offer it about once every other week, but we all love the results. I think we ate the tamales you ate for a few days! I'm glad you can appreciate the remote nature of our place and the natural beauty it provides. We had...

We've been to MBG numerous times and not only is each stay outstanding, it continues to offer fun surprises. When we arrived Alan Parsons was having lunch chatting with Marcia. ( I know I'm dating myself) One night Fernando from the Majahual restaurant 100% Agave did a tequila tasting. Having been in the restaurant business for 40 years I've sat...

I just love you guys! It is always a pleasure when you visit and I'm glad you enjoyed the tequila tasting. Fernando is a gem, isn't he? One comes away from his tastings feeling so "smart!" Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad the mosquitoes of rainy season did not bother you too much. We have dusk mosquitoes, especially in rainy season.
