While arriving at aproximately 3:30 PM on a Thursday, we drove our rental car to curb in front of the reception area. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome greeting of Senor Luis Chan, as he said to us "Good afternoon, Mr. Dunn, we have been expecting you." Sr. Luis accompanied us to the reception palapa where we were offered...

After spending some time in the crowds in Cancun and Playa del Carmen this has been the perfect antidote to bring our souls back to earth. Situated right next to the ruins at Uxmal, this hotel blends into the environment. The staff are very friendly and efficient, rooms are large (as are the bathrooms, which is not a common event...

Yes, it's a pompous title, but I travel every week for work and have stayed at the fanciest four seasons, mandarin oriental, breakers, etc. The lodge at Uxmal is - in my opinion- the world's best hotel. We paid $225 per night for a family of 4 with breakfast included. The location is perfect. The rooms, gardens, swimming pools are...

We had a nice dinner here after the weird light show over at the ruins. We had most of the large dining room to ourselves, meaning we had several waiters, which was nice. They have an amazing drink selection and the dinner options were good as well. We had soup, entrée, and dessert, all of which was delicious.

First, the good part: It's a lovely property, perfectly situated for visitng the ruins at Uxmal, and in general the entire Ruta Puuc. Room large and comfortable, grounds are well kept and beautiful. Staff is very nice and accomodating, especially housekeeping. My problems were two fold. When booking it was through Mayaland parent company in Cancun, and when they quoted...

I am personally looking into your comments and complaints. Quite a disparity.... comparing your experience to those expressed by the great majority of our patrons on this very site. I will address my findings directly to you at the address you gave us in your registration. Thank you.

We just returned from the Mayaland Resort Tour (Uxmal and Chichen Itha) and wish to extend to other's our glowing recommendations. Our tour guide (Carlos Solis) was extremely friendly as well as knowledgeable making the experience come to life. The properties are spectacular and well above what we expected to find in the Yucatan. While the entire experience was wonderful...

We had booked a modest room at the sister property Hacienda Uxmal next door, but because a busload of 80 11-year-olds were just arriving, they offered to upgrade us to the lovely (and quieter) Lodge at Uxmal next door for no extra cost! In moments we were settled into a very nice room although it was only around noon, and...

This was one of the best experiences of our lives, and we travel a great deal. The staff is warm and welcoming, giving guests a unique experience. The hotel is historic, yet modern in every way. The food is wonderful, the spa is wonderful, the amenities are great, the hotel rooms are furnished beautifully, the pool area is welcoming. Plenty...

We were originally booked at the hacienda across the street but they graciously upgraded us to the lodge for free (it's the same company) as there was a tour of 100+ teenagers staying at the hacienda and they didn't want us to be disturbed. Both locations are absolutely beautiful. Luis greeted us at the lodge and provided everything we needed...
