Nice room by the swimming pool, good breakfast. Very close to the central bus station. Good choice in order to get to Chichen-Itza early in the morning before it gets packed. Do not take a shuttle to Chichen, take a bus if you want to get going.

Tunich Beh (in maya means Stones Path) is a pleasant surprise located at historical center of Valladolid walk zone, is built in a historical Spanish house transformed and remodeled as hotel. In just 5 minutes walking you are in front of the wonderful Cathedral and its Square. Friendly staff, very nice room, clean bathroom and comfortable bed. The best shower...

Tunich Beh offered everything I wanted for a visit to Valladolid. Its a small hotel (8 rooms) includes a generous breakfast, and is in an excellent location. Its only 1-1/2 to 2 blocks to the bus station & about 2 blocks to the main plaza. Calzada de los Frailes has been redone in keeping with Valladolid's pueblo magico status--the houses...

Tunich Beh is a lovely sight. When you enter the gate, you will find the small private parking area. Then, you walk into the reception/breakfast area, a large and beautiful space. Through that is a pretty garden, with comfortable seating, and stairs leading to the enticing swimming pool, surrounded by the rooms. The room we had was the nicest we...

Hotel Tunich Beh is a great place to stay in Valladolid. The hotel is located on a beautiful and quiet street full of colourful and well preserved colonial houses (probably the nicest street of Valladolid). By foot, it's only 2 minutes away from the ADO bus terminal and less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful central plaza. This place...

I may have left a little piece of my heart at Tunich Beh. Certainly, I did not expect to: it's an "ordinary" hotel on the face of it. Yet, there is something special about it. I am sure that if Alistair Sawday were to do a "special places" edition for the Yucatan, Tunich Beh would be on it. Although it...

We used this hotel as a base to see Valladolid and get to Chichen Itza early before the crowds. Good location that was easy to find and close to the zocalo and other destinations. The 8 room are on two sides of a pool with interconnecting courtyards to the street. Swim early as the sun goes down early (3pm) given...

Hotel check in was ok. Front desk person did not speak much english, so was of limited help with our questions concerning payment and local recommendations. Rooms are clean, and simply furnished. Beds were harder than I would have preferred, and pillows were also hard and flat. We didn't watch TV but it was one of those older models with...

“There are only 8 or 9 rooms at Hotel Tunich Beh, all tucked in a reversed L-shape row house in the back of the hotel facing the nice pool. Very quiet and tranquil, a world away from the heat and noise from Valladoid's central square area yet only 10 minutes walk from there. Room 1 to 6 have window with direct view of the inviting pool. (I stayed in Room 6).”
