This is a charming hotel in a great location, but we feel that it could use a little more attention to detail. There were no towels in our room when we arrived, and we heard others complaining about reserving a room with a fridge but they didn't have one. Our room had 2 double beds which made it very tight...

Coming in from Holbox, we arrived at what we thought was 1:30pm and forgetting about the time difference it was actually only 12:30pm. Check in is at 3pm and they will store your luggage for you, however we did see several guests check in over the 4 nights we were there, wait way past the check in time as the...

We spend 3 nights at the Aurora. This hotel was very convenient. It's not far from the socalo and near a lot of goods restaurants. It's a good hotel if you want something not very expensive and near the cenotes and ADO bus station. Not so good : We ran out of hot water very quickly.

Lovely charming colonial hotel! On arrival, check in was quick and easy. Rooms were immaculate. Handy location, walking distance to everything. Roof top has a lovely view of the town. Really enjoyed staying here, great value for money.

We traveled to Valladolid to enjoy the local Mayan ruins, cenotes and the charming town. We were pleased to find this hotel to accommodate our family. We rented two rooms, near the pool. The hotel is a great value, clean and short walking distance from the town's square. We didn't spend too much time at the hotel, but it worked...

The building is charming, one may have trouble sleeping if other guests choose to stay up longer in the courtyard, but noise may be problem in any hotel according to my experience, so just bring some ear plugs. The ladies at the reception spoke only Spanish, so do make an effort to learn the basic phrases necessary for check-in/out, payment....

Excellent location, within easy walking distance of the old-town center, with a charming, colonial feel. The rooms are arranged around a central courtyard with a swimming pool (didn't use it because the weather was on the cool side), but the rooms on one side are next to a busy, noisy street. Friendly management allowed us to change rooms after our...

Near the town centre, we only stayed one night but we had a good time. The beautiful tile work can be a little tricky when wet but even my elderly mother managed it. The room was clean. We were even able to get our laundry taken out, washed, dried & returned neatly folded for a very, very low price.

This hotel is in a very good location near the historic centre. The swimming pool was great to cool down. I paid extra for breakfast as was nice to sit in a nice courtyard. The room was very comfortable with a good shower and a king sized bed. Everything was very clean.

The good: The aurora is attractive, with good beds and a nice courtyard with a clean and sizable pool. The house keeping is excellent. The price was good. It would have been great if the place was as described. The Not-So-Good: First: We sometimes ran out of hot water quickly, and sometimes got none at all. Not okay in a...
