We stayed at casa Hamada for five nights. The place is conveniently located, it allowed us to walk to town any time. The surroundings are safe, we have been walking around with our 6 months old daughter without an issue:-) Bonus is the onsite restaurant: the dinner and breakfast are spectacular! Portions are huge and prices very contained.

Casa Hamaca has it all - comfortable rooms, a great restaurant, and excellent staff. Dennis is a gracious host and clearly a well-respected community member, happy to share his wealth of knowledge. Our room was a treat with the best bed we found in Mexico. Breakfasts were great, with so much fresh fruit available. But to me, the best part...

We stayed for two nights at CH, and loved every minute of it. Breakfast was provided every morning at the restaurant, which provided us with tasty food (fresh fruit, yogurt, granola + a main dish, coffee and watermelon juice) as well as service with a smile. The staff were all very helpful, including the owner, Dennis, who took the time...

Our room was available at the last minute and we are so grateful. From the greetings, to the service, to the beauty, to the interactions with the other guests, we could not have been happier. We traded a reservation in a hotel on the main square in town for this. What a great choice for us.

A wonderful place to stay while in Valladolid. We had a wonderful experience cooking with the staff of Casa Hamaca Guesthouse. It felt like I was cooking with my family and friends in my kitchen. Otehlia chose a perfect place for us to stay on our Madison Eats Culinary and Culture tour of the Yucatan. The house is very comfortable,...

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights here as part of a culinary tour. Denis(owner) and staff are awesome and took great care of our group. The rooms are beautiful, colorful, and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast which was included was incredible--tons of fresh fruit, breads/cakes, yogurt and granola, and anything else off the menu. Best part of our stay...

We loved our stay at Casa Hamaca. The grounds are very special and we could just hang out in the peaceful garden with its remarkable diversity of birds and plants all afternoon. The room was lovely (we stayed in the Tree Suite). But the best part of the stay was the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Special nods...

We discovered this place 3 years ago and have stayed there every year since. Denis is an excellent host and his staff are very accommodating. The facility is artfully beautiful. Valladolid is a very good place to be, particularly if you plan to go to Chitzen Itza, Ak Balam, Uayma or any of the many cenotes in the region. The...

We stayed at Casa Hamaca as part of a Culinary Vacation through Mexico. It was wonderful. Very comfortable room and beds, with a great staff. The breakfast is delicious and made to order, and includes local fruit, lots of coffee and many hot menu items. We also enjoyed a cooking class with the kitchen staff, and I highly recommend it!...

Denis was the perfect host, we learned so much about the area and travelling in Mexico. He patiently answered all of our questions and as novice Mexico travelers we had lots of questions. The rooms are large and comfortable and each one has a theme, bathrooms are tile and marble and modern. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the restaurant...
