Read lots of reviews and expected to either really like it or hate it. We can't agree with the negative reviews. The staff and service in the restaurant was really nice. We had a suite (room 20 - incredible - so nice!). It is true that you have to pay extra for some things but you don't have to, you...

I was meeting here for business. We enjoyed a drink in the bar before being escorted to our table in the Thai (which was a few doors up the road). I would like to thank the blonde manager who was the first person to greet us at the door as we arrived. She showed us around briefly and ensured we...

We were looking forward to our stay at The Crazy Bear as we had previously heard good things however we were very disappointed! The check in process was quick and easy, we were greeted with a glass of champagne and were shown to our room which was away from the main building - number 23. We stayed in a Junior...

Popped into the bar for a drink with Family and it is like Aladdin's cave! A good cocktail menu with something to suit everyone. I did call and left a couple of messages but nobody got back to me about my booking so we just walked in which was fine as they were not busy. The drinks are around £9...

My husband treated me to a night away here for my Christmas present. The chance to have a night away together is very rare as we have an autistic daughter and so she requires specific care over night when we aren't with her. We had a suite booked for a mid-week break including an expensive bottle of champagne on arrival,...

I was so excited to go here. I am so glad I did the Groupon voucher, there is no way this was worth £750. I know I have high standards but this fell short on everything. I think its literally style over substance. Service is important to me and we had none. upon arrival I was irritated as she was...

Different eclectic wacky unusual place - very quirky place to have afternoon tea in the basement with loads of mirrors!! Tea was lovely tasty well presented but wouldn't have paid full price for the tea - was worth what we paid for on Groupon

I never normally complain as understand running such a unique establishment is a difficult job BUT remember if you do entertain a visit here "the customer IS NOT RIGHT" !! I booked a party of women for my partners 40 th birthday and spent significant time organising ALL details and costs with one of the group booking team. The evening...

The Crazy Bear is an eclectic venue including English and Thai Restaurants, very unusual décor, rather limited parking and Thai Massages. The building is a converted 15th century building and there are separate buildings along the street for reception, the English Restaurant and the This Restaurant plus a function building at the back of the car park. The car park...
