I have wanted to visit this place for a very long time. So I had very high expectations for it. Arriving we knew we would struggle to park, as it was very busy, it reminded me of a local village near my home called Burnham Market. We did find a space, however some areas are restricted to 2 hours, be...

Suite 33. Amazing. Thai food was fantastic. Drinks prices are quite expensive, but is to to be expected for standard of hotel and location. The town is also really nice and peaceful. Grade 2 listed buildings in abundance.

Stayed overnight on special deal B n B with 3 course dinner and bottle of fizzy included. Glass of fizz upon arrival most welcome then showed to our room. Lovely but small ish room. Decor very glitzy, decadent and crazy - red velvet walls with mirrored ceilings - very 60's/70's chic ! Great en suite in black marble walls with...

Could not fault the rooms, the food or the service by the waiting staff. A really crazy hotel. Unfortunately it was totally let down by their administration. An overnight stay was booked for my daughter and son-in-law for their 1st wedding anniversary. Unfortunately he had to go to a meeting in America. With a couple of months notice and booked...

If you are looking for the wow factor in Buckinghamshire, you need go no further than The Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield. Friends travel from Central London to visit. Imposing wooden doors with rich velvet drapes, behind which is a bar and one of several restaurants. Recently, we tried the Thai and can't recommend it highly enough. With the weather picking...

Amazing hotel, everywhere the most fabulous decor and animals! Staff we very friendly and happy to tell us all about the hotel. Yummy tapas food in the opulent bar and would recommend the Thai massage. Stayed in the luxurious suite 10 which was as plush in life as the photos. Now want to go back to book another suite. Thai...

This is a difficult hotel to review. Start with our Suite - amazing decor, lovely copper bath in the middle of the room. But looks out onto a roof terrace that hotel guests use. We were advised to keep our curtains closed at all times. I guess that's ok, but not for a room costing over £600 per night. And...

Was here for the 3 course Sunday lunch and a glass of champagne (Groupon Voucher). Making a booking is almost impossible as nobody answers the phone so fortunately I live nearby so went in person to make the booking a few weeks ago. The English Restaurant is in the main building and is very flamboyant with lots of taxidermy on...

Stayed here overnight for a family birthday. The rooms and bars are remarkable and the service very good. Our stay was a gift and we enjoyed the whole experience. The food was good too. Glad we were able to experience the Crazy Bear. Groupon is best way for us ordinary mortals to stay there but do it if you can,...

We went to the Thai restaurant - the food was nice but a "set menu" included one main dish each and any rice/noodles are an extra cost. The food was nice, was everything is so over-priced and the place is starting to look tacky and a bit tired. Not the best service either - it's as though the staff all...
