Our American guests requested a traditional 'high tea' and since they were going on to stay at The Goring in London we decided that Cliveden might impress! We were not disappointed. Tea is not difficult and we could have gone to a whole catalogue of local places but this was just so special and a lovely memory to take with...

We ate in the main restaurant and had the seven course tasting menu which was excellent. The wine was expensive and perhaps a few more at the lower end would be appreciated by diners. As it was a sunny day we also had a walk around the grounds which only added to the occasion.

Visited today with my three children and the grounds were wonderful. Lunch in the orangery was lovely, relaxed and child friendly. The play area and surrounding gardens were clean and tidy. The whole day was filled with vibrant colours and laughter from my children. Just fab!

A beautiful building amongst large beautiful grounds. The staff attentive and helpful. A building with history and Romance. The bar has an array of choice be it beers, wines or cocktails. The Andre Garrett restaurant is very special and unique with views across the lawns. Breakfast was exceedingly good !!

Wonderful tea room with decor that reminded my six year old daughter of Beauty and the Beast. Fabulous play area for her as well with fictional characters, including Mole and Ratty and Captain Hook. Lovely walks.

My wife and I went off to Cliveden for afternoon courtesy of a birthday present from two great friends this afternoon. We were greeted at the main door and shown to our table where we were seated and made comfortable. A waiter approached us and explained how things worked. He took our order and offered us a champagne cocktail which...

There is magic in the air from the moment you hit the gravel drive of Cliveden. The gardens are glorious, the staff are exceptional and the food sublime. What better way to celebrate my 50th and my mother's 75th and with views of the mist rolling in over the manicured lawns and flower beds. Utter perfection on every level and...

This place is awesome. It has its won ghost in the Mountbatten Suite and have to say I really experienced something spooky! The food is a delight. Go there for a treat a birthday or Xmas. It is steeped in history. It used to be owned by Jenny Agutter and now still a hotspot for celebrities. It has a marble...

Let's make it clear: We had a very nice weekend and I think we will come back. The place - both the house and the park- is beautiful, very well renovated. We stayed in a junior suite and the room was immaculate. Nothing to complain. The check-in was smooth and the service was attentive and very professional during all our...

Excellent service, accomodations and cuisine in Andre Garrett. Also, National Trust property offers lovely grounds for walks through formal gardens and wooded areas, all open to the public.Close to Heathrow, but not much else around--so enjoy the pastoral setting. Would characterize as formal or hotel guests hanging out in flip flops and jeans would not be appropriate and appreciated by...
