Excellent location. Very easy check in. Very comfortable room. Excellent food and setting for evening meal. Nice stroll along the high street to people watch and pop in to various bars. Wonderful breakfast. Will definitely return.

The hotel had a mix up with us initially having put us in a single bed but thanks to helpful lady on reception she managed to switch us in to a staff bedroom. Overall the hotel is everything you need, free parking, reasonably priced, quiet clean rooms, bar and restaurant attached but more importantly for us walking distance to the... More

We received a very warm welcome after a long journey. The room was very clean, and a bit basic, but at the price (£65 inc breakfast for two on Sunday night) was very reasonable. Service was good, a request for a decaf coffee powder for the room was provided in a few minutes, along with a missing towel. The problem... More

We were attending a family function at Alderley Edge and needed overnight accommodation. My booking went through without a problem, and on arrival enjoyed a comfortable room. After a good night`s sleep we took in the continental buffet breakfast - not in the quoted room rate. The only downside was the lack of double glazing which allowed in some traffic... More

Pleasantly suprised. Staff very polite, room clean and large firm bed. Probably had the largest flatscreen tv in any hotel room I've stayed in! Although window was double galzed and I was at rear of block there was still some road noise audible. Had dinner in restaurant and food well cooked with decent portions and the same for breakfast. To... More

Hotel is pretty central in Alderley Edge. Rooms are reasonably sized, huge bathroom and TV in mine. I was at the front and there was some road noise, but not excessive. Food was ok. Staff were very friendly. Make sure you get a (free) ticket for the car park from reception.

We stayed in the hotel in September and it was absolutely lovely. The rooms are clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable and we had a really good night sleep. Good standard pub food in the restaurant and a decent selection of drinks in the bar. Great place to stay for couple of nights and explore the area. Very lively and... More

Nice food, lovely service and a great place to meet with family and friends. Dog friendly in the bar too. Sunday lunch is very good and the menu has lots of choice. We go quite regularly now. Not disappointing. Didn't stay in the hotel, we live locally so it's eating and drinking only for us.

Usable when you need to be in the area, but not a go-to place. Bed was good, shower okay, desk somewhat narrow, pity the window could not be opened widely, as it was a stuffy evening. Breakfast the typical English style (not my taste), with "continental options" barely an adequate alternative. Took forever to get the wifi working, and it... More

The whole place is tired and in need of basic decorating and cleaning. Bathrooms are so small there no room to move. Lack of towels. Rooms too hot, too noisy to open the windows. Small car park. Didn't eat in the restaurant as the state of the rooms didn't fill us with confidence.
