A very pleasant place to stay with friendly staff and attractive grounds. We stayed in Lime Room which was large, light and well appointed. (An old building so creaky floorboards didn't spoil it) We stayed for three nights but only had breakfasts which were more than satisfactory. An excellent place to stay for ' getting around' as Chester, Tatton Park,...

Booked this hotel for my wife and I and also as a birthday treat for my sister and her husband. The hotel staff were most helpful with our booking which we really appreciated. Our rooms were sizeable and nicely decorated , we booked executive rooms . We booked through secret escapes and were staying on a B&B with evening table...

Absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The room was so relaxing, with a view of the garden that was pure classic England. The food was second to none. If you have to visit Chester I would highly recomend visiting Nunsmere.

This hotel's best attribute is its chef. The food is excellent fine dining. The room was clean and spacious with wonderful views of the gardens. Very relaxing for a two night stay. The only problem we encountered was the shortage of staff. The small bar is not manned and it's very difficult to find someone to get drinks. There is...

I can not believe that this hotel has four red stars! I'm surprised that it has any stars. Average check in, no porter. Average 'superior' room. No turn down service. Only one Gin available, lipstick on the glasses, warm white wine, over priced supermarket quality wine, reasonable food, below average service. No remote control in the bedroom. Twigs on the...

We really enjoyed our stay at Nunsmere Hall it’s a very comfortable country hotel. The staff are polite and helpful and the cleanliness of the hotel is very good. We had a nice room with a four poster bed, lounge area, walk-in wardrobe and a large bathroom. The hotel has really good public lounge areas with an outside patio area...

We enjoyed a dinner, bed and breakfast stay at Nunsmere Hall, interestingly, we were allocated the same room we'd stayed in in 2008, when we last stayed. Nothing had changed in that time and everywhere is starting to look tired. Having said that the hotel is very comfortable and housekeeping very good. Check in was efficiently done by a charming...
