Travellers' Choice
In the very heart of rural Cheshire lies the picturesque and unspoilt village of Prestbury which miraculously has resisted the breathless pace of the modern world and has retained the tranquil atmosphere of the perfect English village. Since 1952 the Bridge in Prestbury has been one of the country's most respected hotels, providing luxurious accommodation, fine food, morning coffee and afternoon tea, private dining facilities, an excellent conference centre and the very best in social entertainment facilities. A personal, friendly service is the key to our success. The Bridge is an ideal base for visiting the wonderful and diverse Cheshire countryside and attractions just 20 minutes drive from Manchester Airport and located within easy reach of the motorway network. The Bridge Hotel balances the excellent facilities of a modern hotel with genuine character and appeal.

The setting and renovation are lovely. Unfortunately the staff fall short of this. If you get your food it’s very good....but be prepared not to. Phone service doesn’t connect to the right place and then the staff cut you off. There are only so many chances you can give a place and this is now 3 strikes and you’re out,

The Bridge is in a lovely setting and has been done out nice. But the service is sadly so poor because it’s so slow. Have been 3 times now and every one as disappointing as the last. Waiting over 30 minutes just for a drink is unacceptable and ruined our night out as we were sat on edge constantly asking where our drinks were. Majority of the staff are lovely but a couple were unfriendly. A real shame as this place could be fantastic. Only gave 2 stars and setting is nice and food was good... once it arrived. Recommend ordering your second drink when your first arrives and you might be able to time it well.

Absolutely perfect! Can't say anything bad about the bridge. Great set up, great staff: Ian, Josh Hannah and Adam looked after us perfectly! Chef obviously excellent!! Un-bloodly-believable!!! Honestly one of the best in the business!

We had an excellent meal, they had gone to so much trouble to create an atmospheric outdoor space with plenty of seating, heaters and blankets. It was lovely to see a menu for everyone with a selection of gluten free and vegan meals. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This was our first visit but we will most definitely be back!

We went for lovely dinner as a family of 4. The food was delicious but more waiting staff are needed as it took 3.5 hours for us to be served our main courses, puddings and drinks which is really quite some time, especially when you have children. My only grip which I would have raised at the time had i been able to attract the attention of the waiter was that we ordered cokes for the kids and two came flat. The kids didn’t want to make a fuss or have to wait for a replacement as they had waited almost an hour to get their drinks in the first place.
