First time at this hotel for New Years Eve and it was a great night, Excellent Food and plenty of and lovely and hot . All staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The DJ was great always asking what sort of music you like and would play it. We stayed over night so know one had to...

Me and my family came to the restaurant on the way back from visiting family. I had beer battered fish and chips with mushy peas. It was the best fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was moist but not greasy and batter crispy. The chips were just right and the mushy peas were so tasty and smooth. Nothing...

First stay was a reasonable price for an average double room. Unfortunately the receptionist was unable to book me a taxi as the remote location (just 1 mile outside Sandbach) is very poorly serviced by any cab companies? The additional charge for breakfast the next morning was pitiful and virtually self-service. This year basic room prices had increased to £79...

Well the outside grounds must be lovely in the spring/summer as now it is December and the hotel is as you can imagine it's not fully booked but it led to a let down. The room was very functional warm and the shower was very good, but the curtains were covered in paint and ripped and dirty I did not...

Rooms are looking lovely and comfortable very clean and fresh, nice and quiet area. Slept sound no noise at all. However I ate in the restaurant and this is a pet hate of mine frozen chips! A lovely ribeye cooked perfect! Let down by the chips! Not much selection for food.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks while working in the local area, from the outside it looks fabulous. Even the front reception area is modern and nice. As you leave the reception area and walk towards the bedroom you soon realise that it's a little run down. Different odors as you walk through each set of doors and...

We stayed here due to location for a visit to the family. The reception staff were friendly but that was about it. The corridors were musty, the rooms tired, the towels grey, thin and ragged. Breakfast was diabolical. We got there at 9.20 and there was not a member of staff in sight. The help yourself cooked breakfast was cold...

We booked our three night stay at the hotel to be close to family and, being easily accessed from the M6 made it idea with ample parking. We specifically asked for a room upgrade from the standard room booked and, reading the other reviews now, are very glad that we did. Our room was excellent, well decorated, spacious with good...

Wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel . Desperate need of refurbishment, rooms grubby , damp on the walls around the window . Curtains wripped and torn . Bathroom grotty and looked dirty . Too late to change hotels as we had a family party to go too otherwise I wouldn't have stayed . Think 1 star is too highly rated...

We stayed here while visiting family locally, it provided a great base and with the main routes close by it is well placed. You cannot hear the motorway nearby, and the grounds and attractively maintained. The interior is being refurbished, which is tasteful and comfortble. The conservatory was not yet finished but will be a great addition. The bedroom was...
